The Villa is in a fantastic position overlooking the ocean. Beautiful views. Lovely, clean and spacious with an outdoor pool. Its just a walk away from this amazing beach called Mazzo di Sciacca. The host was very friendly and on hand to help with everything we needed.

This villa was everything we hoped it would be. A beautiful location, very peaceful with wonderful views of the sea and mediterranean surroundings. Plenty of space to enjoy inside and outside the property. The Villa is beautifully decorated with lovely little extras to help make the stay a home from home.

The villa has some lovely views of the sea and is a quick 2 minute walk to a great beach.

We arrived on Saturday and had a couple of great quiet days with sunshine and the sound of the sea. On the Tuesday we were woken up at 8am with the sound of a very noisy digger on the hill across the track which continued all day through to 5pm on Tuesday and Wednesday. At some points it was around 20 metres away and we simply had to leave the villa for the both days when the whole point of the break was to relax. We contacted the lady who was our point of contact - she was great; speaking to the workmen, always taking our calls but the workmen's promise that the work would finish after a few hours on Tuesday turned out to be untrue. On Wednesday we were woken before 8am by the digger so phoned our contact and said we couldn't stay in the villa and wanted to leave. She got in touch with the owner who dropped us a note to say they were now aware of the work but could not be held responsible for the noise. I found this very annoying as they clearly knew the work was underway as the whole hillside has been cleared so work has obviously being going on for months. We're told the work is related to fire prevention but to me it looks like preparation for buildings given the way they are levelling out the hill. You can see the extent of the work in the photo I have uploaded - The villa is behind the trees halfway up the hill. The access via the private beach has been closed off by the workers and you can only get in by unlocking the lock - we had a key from the owner who must have got this from the workers so again proof they knew what was going on. We were offered another villa after we made them aware my partner was pregnant but it wasn't as nice and we could see it was being offered online at around £1300 per week versus the £2000 we had paid. We weren't offered a discount and were reluctant to pay £2000 to stay in something that cost £1300.
