A piece of heaven. It was an amazing experience. From the location near the city of Nafplio (small city near the sea, with a french feel) to the beautiful property with modern amenities, 2 swimming pools, lounge are, beautiful olive and orange trees. The hoasts are very kind and helpfull and they serve a delicious and variate breakfast. We felt very good here and we need to come back.

Amazing accommodation set in orange & Olive groves & surrounded by beautiful scenery, Owners Mrs Dina & Mikalis along with son Konstantinos bent over backwards to make us welcome & comfortable. Breakfast were very special with a mix of traditional greek & Uk fare including eggs & bacon Such a peaceful & special place it was hard to leave.

A true gem. Genuine Greek hospitality at its finest. Ephi was so well informed and generous with her time and recommendations. Mama Dina's breakfasts and marmalade were legendary. The property is graced with beautiful hills of orange and olive groves and bird song. The open air massage was the perfect start to a highly enjoyable stay. Absolutely ideal base for exploring Nafplio, ancient sites of Epidaurus, Mycenae, etc., and stunning Nemean wine country. Also two beautiful pools, shaded by olive trees, for afternoon peace and relaxation. Charming stone cottages/rooms strike a nice balance of rustic charm, coziness and modern comforts.

unfortunately there was a party of 9 girls on a ‘hen/bachelor weekend for 2 of our nights. we were disturbed until the early hours of the morning and had to ask them to be quiet. the proprietor intervened but it was too late and our peace was shattered. it completely spoilt our stay.

The place was as if you are living in the countryside, rock built guesthouses surrounded by beautiful nature. Breakfast is just amazing and the people are very friendly!

Everything about Opora is stunning, from the scenery to the cozy cottages to the food and staff. We stayed three nights and wished we had a full week or more- it was so relaxing! My husband and I particularly loved the room/cottage, which was beautiful (like out of a dream) and extremely comfortable. We took advantage of the 1-hour massage services they offered, which took place amidst the orange trees on the second level of the garden. Ms. Niki is a great masseuse and we highly recommend! We also raved to our friends and family about the prepared breakfasts which exceeded our expectations. I will dream of that breakfast for years to come lol. The ladies who make/serve it are so kind and sweet! The newer hostess (Euphenia I think? So sorry if I misspelled it!) was so warm and welcoming, gave us a great tour of the property upon arrival and made sure we had everything we needed (even wrote down some recommendations for laundry services in the area). Truly everyone we met who worked there was amazing and it felt very familial. The property is about a 10 min drive from Nafplio Old Town but we had a rental car so it didn’t affect us and honestly we preferred the peace and tranquility of being a bit further out. Plus they had an on-site coffee bar + snack shop in addition to a nice dinner menu that made it easy to get food/drinks if we didn’t feel like driving into town again. Will recommend this place to anyone who is traveling to the Peloponnese and will hopefully come back to stay again some day :)

We spent 3 nights at Opora Country Living. Konstantinos gave us a warm welcome upon our (very late) arrival, showed us around the property and took us to our beautifully decorated ground floor apartment. We particularly enjoyed the homemade breakfast that was served at our terrace every morning A swimming pool - tucked away in the orange grove - is the perfect place to stay cool on a warm summer day... too bad it was not summer yet ;-)
