The location was great, the room was good, and the hotel was nicely set out and pleasant.

The food that was on offer for room service was limited in some ways and had odd mixes of sides. The taste of the room service food was not what I would expect from a five-star hotel. A lot of the food was bland and lacking flavor we had room service a number of times, so we know this was not a one-off, due to having to stay in our room a number of evenings. Have eaten in the rooftop restaurant. We know they do make good food, but did this not extend to the room service food? We had staff knocking on our door too many times throughout the visit, disturbing us, and asking us if we wanted the room cleaned, why not call rather than knock? The gym equipment looked good but was not very practical, (kept banging my knees on the cross-trainer and my legs are short, god help someone who's tall) or useful due to the limited equipment weight sizes available. The room was compact and had this sliding door that doubled as a wardrobe door. The door wouldn't close if you were using the drawers, which made getting from the sinks/dressing area to the bedroom difficult if you were both actively getting ready to go out. We often kept hitting the door on the drawers and couldn't get pasted one another, strange and not practical design, found this annoying as the days went by, just use two smaller doors on the wardrobe and leave the walkway open for functional use! Probably sounded good on paper but no good in reality.

My favourite hotel in Barcelona! Our room was a junior suite and just perfect for our needs. The location is very central and easy to get around. We ate breakfast at the hotel 3-4 times and was delicious

very central location yet off the main touristy street. One of the best rooftops in Barcelona - not to be missed

The rooms are rather dark - they tried to do the best they could given the space constraints but you still feel inside the dungeon unless you have a balcony

The breakfast was great, and perfect location.

Strange design of the room, where the entrance basically was merged with the bathroom. You literally step directly into the bathroom. Not very hygienic.

This was my second time staying at The One and it lived up to my previous experience staying here. The rooms are gorgeously decorated, comfortable and spacious. The staff are fantastic- super helpful and a pleasure to deal with. We had a perfect stay!

computer says no attitude from reservations dept GF restaurant refused to serve me an expresso because the were closed at 11:45 so I walked across the street to a cafe which was epic!

Very comfortable hotel. fabulous location. Great value. Lovely rooftop bar.

It's my second visit to this hotel. Staff at the reception are always willing to help and well informed. Even though the hotel was fully booked they did their best to accommodate our needs. Always a pleasure

Nothing I did not like honestly, however It would be awesome if all the rooms in the hotel would have water for the toilet (water hose, shattaf, etc). Currently it's only on the 5th floor upwards. It would be a great addition if they manage to do that especially considering that this is important for visitors coming from the Middle East. Just a recommendation =)
