Hotel is located in a very cozy/small city near the beach. Rooms are modern and well isolated from noise. Staff is really nice and friendly, very supportive! Breakfasts are really nice and tasty!

You need to pay extra for beach cot and make a reservation for them. We informed staff during check-in about early check-out and asked for lunch boxes. Also, reminded one day prior. Everyone forgot about us at all, we were waiting for a personal to make a check-out and did not get any lunch boxes at all. Food in the restaurant might be improved, portion, texture and taste.

I have stayed in many hotels around the world. But I have not been treated as great as I found in this hotel. Thank you to the staff at this wonderful hotel. It really deserves more than 5 stars. Thanks to all the staff, especially the hotel manager

Everything was beautiful

This was one of the nicest experiences we had in a hotel ever. The staff (from receptionist to waiters and manager) were so kind through our whole stay at the Riva. The room was very tidy, spacious and modern with enough space in the closets and nice bathroom and shower. Breakfast is very luxurious and dinner is delicous and not expensive if you know which good food you get. The manager is a very nice guy who keeps contact with every hotelguest at the tables and was extremely kind to all. We could park our car every time in front of the hotel (private parking) or down in the underground parking. Strongly recommend this place to who wants to stay at a hotel without any concerns. Thanks again to al the staff and especially to the manager for taken such good care of us! :)

Great location on the lovely beach, hotel has a private area for sunbeds which was a nice feature. Staff are fantastic and we felt very well looked after by everyone throughout our entire stay.

Room could have been a bit cleaner, bed wasn't that comfy but only very minor details!

The Riva hotel is on the first line of the beachfront with access to the best of Petrovac's swimming area.. The restaurant seating is between the promenade and the beach so guests are having their meals with an unobstructed view of the sea. The dining experience was first class, with excellent wait staff, outstanding meal selections and quality. When we return to Montenegro next year the Riva will be at the top of our list.

Automobile access to the hotel was blocked by vehicles parked in front of adjacent hotels. Petrovac seems to be an overly dense collection of hotels with inadequate parking, even in the off-season.

The location was perfect, and the sea view room was very comfortable with an excellent view. Staff very friendly

No sun loungers during the stay was a big disappointment

I had an amazing stay at Riva as a sole traveler. From the moment I have entered to the hotel (with my bag delayed by Austrian by 24hrs) to the moment I have left 4 days later, I experienced only support, care, hospitality and friendliness. I have chosen to eat at their restaurant breakfast (included), lunch and dinner simply because of the view (sea front), delicious seafood choices and absolutely amazing staff! I usually choose Bonvoy Hotels (former Starwood) due to Titanium status, but since it was a small town with only a few hotels, I can say with absolutely confidence that it exceeded my experience on every level.

I have wrote a recommendation about the pillows but it is my personal preference to have a medium supper rather then firm of flat. And next time I’ll choose a Sea front view room, was disappointed in myself that booked the Mountain View … not hotel’s choice to be fully booked and not being able to upgrade ;-), I am sure

The hotel is very well maintained, the staff goes over and beyond to make you feel taken care of and comfortable and the proximity to the beach is amazing. I would highly recommend this hotel.

The location is great because it’s right next to the sea, although to use the beach you have to pay and reserve a place in the tiny slot belonging to the hotel. The staff at the reception are absolutely great and trying to solve every type of problems. They deserved an applause. Staff at the restaurant and on the beach are also really friendly and kind. Food and drink qualities are good-average.

It has a tiny beach with an extremely limited number of beach beds that you have to reserve before and also pay for that. Even if you are a hotel guest, there is a high probability, that you won’t get a place on the beach that belongs to hotel and have to go to public beach, which for me is not a topic of discussion, while o already paid for the hotel. Breakfast ends at 10. And after 9:30 there is not much to find and to eat. The check out time is 10 am, which I never experienced in my life anywhere in Europe. You could fall asleep and at exact 10 o’clock all of the water and electricity of the room is cut. It feels like you are kicked out for some reason. There is a beach but no shower belonging to hotel, which I found really unacceptable, because you have to go to public beach to take a shower, which is barely functioning. And taking a shower after swimming in the sea is indispensable for me and this situation is really frustrating.

Although our suite was supposed to have coffee making machine it was not available in fact. :(

The staff service is worth a 5* palace. The hotel, the room, its localisation and breakfast are perfect. My best stay in Montenegro with another hotel

Friendly helpful staff, drinks service at the beach a massive plus!

A few important call outs - the hotel has a designated beach area for guests but you need to walk through the restaurant and climb over. This is an inconvenience to diners when returning to the room as you are in your bathing suits with sand on feet. There is nowhere to wash this off so you return to your room dragging the sand and making an unnecessary mess. Advice to management - save some effort to your cleaning staff by providing a solution and avoid the disruption to your diners.

Very good wine from our own winery! An excellent selection of wild fish. Beefsteaks - it's hard to make better!

Everything was perfect at the hotel, clean and ideal location. Very communicative and hospitable staff. Very polite and communicative manager and receptionists. I would suggest to you all this hotel in the center of Petrovac.

The best thing was the location right next to the beach, with the opportunity to have breakfast by the beach in the open air every day. In the evening the restaurant tables closest to the sea are reserved for hotel guests, which was a pleasant touch, along with a discount for guests at the restaurant. Breakfast buffet choice was superb, and there are also extra options available fresh from the kitchen. Very comfortable room, with three soft chairs as well as bed, a spacious bathroom and a balcony. The staff were always very kind and thoughtful and made us feel very welcome! Another useful bonus was free beach towels available from reception. The sun lounger/parasol on the beach in front of the hotel (bookable from reception) were also very convenient, as well as comparatively cheap.

Nothing negative to say, there were a couple small technical issues with room TV and fridge but these fixed themselves without us asking the staff. I'm sure the staff could fix any problems!

Without any doubts, location of the hotel is great, neat the hotel there are market, bus station, parking and which is the main option beach. Food in the hotel restaurant, which located at the 0th floor of the hotel delicious and various, waiters are nice and supportive, as guest of the hotel you have 10% discount for any of the menu dishes, which is pleasant surprise. As the hotel have great location in Petrovac, it’s easy to explore all nearby beaches, which is highly recommend.

Cleaning in the hotel and at the beach could be a little bit better, in the room there was sort of strange conditioning system, but it was not a big problem during our stay. Main problem and huge minus is the WIFI, because it was sometimes slow, sometimes there were no WIFI at all.

Great breakfast with lots of options and in front of the sea. Rooms very confortable and always cleand, perfect location. All the employees were really nice , specially the receptionist, the waitress and the guy who takes care of parking your car. Thanks for the hospitality!
