The ambience, the layout, the space, the cleanliness, the beds and linen, the verandas’ tables, the ease of parking, the easy beach access etc etc etc.

There wasn’t much NOT to like. However, the TV wasn’t great and there was a shortage of hand towels.

The house was extremely comfortable and homey. I loved the easy layout, which was also ideal for my elderly mum to move around. The backyard and garden were lovely, as was the wraparound verandah. It is ideally located directly across from the beach! Parking was so convenient, right at the door. we thoroughly enjoyed our holiday and would love to return 😊

Maybe just include a few simple instructions for the convection cooktop, for those who have never used one.

Cooktop didn’t work

Great location close to beach. Lovely historic community and the history of the property was well presented. The atmosphere was lovely.

The property was a little cold.

Bathroom was neat but ordinary clawfoot bath beautiful There wasn't any firewood on arrival heaters worked but we had to source our own wood after a 9 hour drive little underwhelming

Very comfortable house with everything we could possibly need, but also had character and comfort - it really felt like a very stylish home away from home. There were lots of thoughtful touches, and the kitchen is brilliant, with every utensil and piece of equipment that we could want.

The only downside was a musty smell in the front room and the back toilet, and it took a while to find the lockbox for the key.

The position to the beach and the cottage was just beautiful with the best yard for the dogs.

It rained us in for most of our stay. Dogs are no longer allowed on the beach. Rust in the bathtub and rusted cooktop. Overall the house was equiped with everything to have a great stay.
