Everything was great and comfortable. We particularly enjoyed the whimsy and very topical (Rivendell!) design of the room and the whole guest house. It also has a great, very central location next to a heritage train station and a large Co-Op supermarket. Overall, excellent value for money for a very comfortable and enjoyable short stay in Swanage.
Our only issue with the stay was that for a 'self-catering studio,' our room was missing a proper cooking hob, with a microwave the only available option for cooking, limiting what we could cook in the room during our stay. This could have been more clearly highlighted in room descriptions, as it was an unwelcome surprise that made us urgently reconsider our cooking and grocery shopping plans upon our arrival. But that was the only issue - everything else was perfect.

Great studio for families. Well laid out. Perfect amount of amenities. Clean.
Would have been great to have had dedicated parking but this is reflected in the price. Quite loud being on the main road with window open.

Very friendly welcome from the owner who explained everything regarding both the property and the surrounding amenities. The room décor is very clean and modern. We would happily return.
This is a beautiful old town house and therefore there is no lift, just be aware if booking with limited mobility.

Location was fantastic, only a few minutes from the beach and even closer to the railway station and shops. The room was fantastic, had everything we needed and very easy to come and go as we pleased.

Very central location. Easy to walk to beach, station, and central Swanage in a few minutes with supermarket close by. Well equipped studio. Friendly, helpful on site owners. Would happily return.
No on site parking. Some on road parking opposite but on a first come first served basis. Not too much of a problem out of season though.

Great location, wonderful hosts, well equipped kitchenette, everything within easy walking distance (including clifftop hikes) - my idea of heaven. As I stayed in one of the studio apartments, providing some milk for cuppa on arrival was a really thoughtful touch too.
There isn't anything really - although if they could persuade the local church bell ringers to be a little less enthusiastic on a Sunday morning that would be great for those who prefer a lie in.

Such a lovely place. Perfectly placed to explore the surrounding area. Can not wait to visit and stay again.

The location and proximity to the sea; The size and cleaniness of the room; The kitchenette and fridge with milk for the first night; the ensuite with bath and toiletries and soft towels; Netflix on the TV; and the lime green theme raised a appreciative smile to us both.
The room was a little warm but a fan was provided. Also the blinds were not sufficient to block out the early morning light. The 10am checkout was a little too early for us on Sunday.

The decor was superbly decorated for Halloween, very quirky, lovely engaging hosts, a last minute booking which exceeded our expectations, very pleased.

What a find! Kevin and Lyn were amazing hosts, very kind, helpful and friendly. They made us feel so welcome, nothing was too much trouble. The studios (we rented both), were perfect. They had everything we needed. Lovely comfy beds, clean modern bathrooms and instant hot water 😊. We would happily stay again.

The accommodation was well designed, very modern. Owners very friendly. Easy walking distance to centre of Swanage. Very welcoming environment.

Location was perfect, just a short stroll to beach and town, the room was exceptionally clean, felt very comfortable to return to, the kids both aged 9 loved it, we had all the facilities we needed including a small bottle of milk was left in the fridge (far better than the cartons) to enjoy a decent drink on arrival. The carpet was lovely and plently of available plug sockets (helpful), we would definately stay there again!
