Mimo trochę krętego dojazdu warto zatrzymać się na słoweńskiej prowincji. Cisza, spokój. Mili właściciele. Mimo braku śniadania zorganizowano nam dowóz śniadania z pobliskiego lokalu. Wszędzie czysto.

The silence of the location.

We haven’t got any windows , the high of the room was not enough and we had insects in the room ( 2 meters).

Great, informative host. The rooms were clean and fully equipped. We were going to a wedding so we booked only for a day, but I can easily see that I could book this place in the future for a longer stay.

Very spacious and beautifully located place. We stayed at the studio on the basement appartment and really enjoyed how clean and modern it was. We came by bike from the Dragonja valley which was a very very steep climb but really worth it! Matjaz even arranged for us to have some cool beverages when we reached the top! He was an excelent guide, gave us good tips on how to get there and how to continue our trip by bike in a safe way. He helped us also with a hose to clean our bikes from the rainy gravel the previous day. Check-in was smooth with his mother heloping us even if she did not speak English, everything went very good.

One good thing was actually the hygiene of place.

Owner didn't show up at all, he sent his old mother (who was very polite). We got basement apartment- and on pictures of place and description there was no sign of staying in basement.

The apartment is situated in a small, quiet, somewhat remote village in a beautiful, scenic and hilly area. It was clean and equipped with everything we needed. The host was very friendly and helpful (e.g. helped us renting and picking up e-bikes in the next town) and is very knowledgeable regarding activities in the area (e.g. wine tastings, olive farms, restaurants...). For guests who want to spend time at the sea, it might be important to mention that with e-bikes it took us a little over one hour to get to Portoroz or Piran. The routes to get there are beautiful, but decent fitness is required because of the sometimes very steep and hilly terrain.

The mattress was a little soft for us, but that's just individual preference. The tap water is drinkable, but maybe should be boiled first.

We stayed for only 1 night, but would come back for sure. The fact that Maria doesn’t speak English, did not stop our communication… such a lovely person! The best grandma! We miss her and Cherry ( the dog) already ❤️ The flat was super new and modern, amazing shower!
