Mooi historisch gebouw, goede locatie. Uiterst vriendelijk personeel. Vooral Olga. Schuin tegenover het hotel is er een goed restaurant met een goedkoop en lekker menu.

De kamers zijn hopeloos verouderd en het raam komt uit op de gang. Enorm gehorig gebouw. Elk zuchtje, elke beweging van je buren is te horen. Continu gesloten toegangspoort. De bel is te horen door het hele gebouw, ook ´s nachts. Uit de douchekop komt slechts 1 straal water. Als je met de kaart wil betalen is er een supplement !

Friendly staff and the hotel is very close to the main place of Popayan and safe for walking even on night. Breakfast made in colombian is cool too.

Great location

Rooms smelled moldy, uncomfortable bed and very tiny bathroom with old fixtures.

The hotel was charming to say the least, and I felt very connected to the location's history and spirit. There are a lot of nuances, and I could feel the city of Popayan within its walls. The bed was comfortable, the halls were quiet, and most of all the staff was friendly, helpful, and lovely.

Really there's nothing I didn't like about staying here. In fact, I was surprised at how come of the modern elements of more typical locations were not missed at all. There is living history here, and part of this hotels appeal is that one has the privilege of experiencing authenticity in its purest form.

Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Breakfast was delicious, and the hotel is located close to the town square.

Rooms weren’t huge, but that’s understandable given the age and heritage of the building.

Nice, historical colonial building very close to the historic centre and 15min walk from the bus station. Room amenities quite basic, especially bathroom but the price justifies it. Breakfast was also basic. As a light sleeper, it was a bit noisy.

You can hear all the ongoing conversations from the reception and the traffic from the road.

Location is perfect, in the old center of town. Rooms are basic but good enough for 2 nights. Good shower. Very friendly staff, nice basic breakfast.

Bit noisy sometimes from other guests, but that didn’t bother me or my sleep!
