We had a fantastic stay ! The house was clean , comfortable and well equipped .
Outdoor spa was hot when we arrived and a wonderful way to relax after a day of exploring .
Bridport was quiet just before Easter weekend so we enjoyed some of the beaches almost alone .

The Spa House had all we wanted for our stay. The heated spa was just what we need to after 3 weeks of walking trails.

My wife and I were in town to play golf at Barnbougle. Being she isnt a golfer this was great accommodation to suit both of our needs.
A short 8 minute drive to Barnbougle, which was ideal and waking distance to town.
The front deck was amazing for an afternoon/evening drink. Inside of the property was lovely and ideal if you want to eat at home.
Could not recommend this property enough.

We stayed at Spa House in Feb 2024 with a group of 6 for a golf trip to Barnbougle. The house was perfect for a group like this and Barnbougle was only a short 5 min drive away.
The kitchen was fully equipped with everything you need to make meals and there is also a bbq available. The house has been nicely decorated inside to give a really modern vibe.
The spa and deck area outside is a great touch and there is a great view over the ocean.
The shops are a short drive or walking distance. There was also a bike available.
Other amenities included were board games, tennis racquets/balls, washing machine and dryer etc.
Overall, a really enjoyable stay at Spa House and the host was really accommodating when we asked to drop off a few things to the house prior to check-in.

The house is beautiful, easily big enough for a family or 2 to share.
Fully equiped kitchen for cooking in, laundry with access to dryer or clothes line in tidy back yard.
Hot tub was amazing with gorgeous views out over the bay, only issue was it went cold over night despite lid being put on when not in use, may have been something we didn't do.
Short but very steep walk to shops and restaurants.

Beautiful view of the beach from the deck. The deck houses a spa, outdoor furniture and a bar. Inside is a comfortable place to call home during your stay, being a small town we happily had a chat with a few neighbours and they were very welcoming and friendly.
I look forward to planning my next trip there.

I booked the Spa House for overseas family to enjoy. We had a lot of difficulty with heating the spa which was very frustrating. When we did get in on our last day, when it was tepid, some jets weren't working. Contact with the owner was via email, no-one local to assist. I was advised I didn't book a hotel, so shouldn't expect that kind of service. We advised the owner of a few other issues upon departure, so he is aware.
The Spa House is a nice property but a few issues marred what should have been a fabulous getaway.

Lovely clean property however we were charged an additional cleaning fee despite being without basics like light globes and gas for the BBQ. No response to communication from host.

We love this place. Plenty of room to spread out and feel you're having a break. Place has a great vibe, that's why we keep coming back.
Hot tub in winter is the best, as are the sunrises and sunsets from the spa and balcony.

Fishing getaway
Was everything We were expecting . Except we picked to two windiest days of summer to come to Bridport as it was meant to be a fishing weekend away . Very cool place to stay.

Our Favourite Spa House.
Our rental really felt like a home away from home. We golfed, hung out on the beaches, toured the lavender fields and ate out @ Bridport’s restaurants. Coming back to the bright sunny rental for our 3 nights was rather pleasant. We used the hot tub each evening.
We were a 3 generational family visiting Bridport for our 1st time.
My husband and I are golfers and thoroughly enjoyed the two outstanding local courses.
We all plan on returning in a couple of years (my husband & I live in NYC) with our kids & grandkids. We hope this house will be available then.

Good but
House is beautiful and was everything we hoped. There were a few minor things that need to be replaced or cleaned properly. We couldn't use the Weber as is kept catching on fire due to it being so dirty, the vacuum cleaner cord won't stay out and the dust pan was smashed. Apart from those few minor things, the house was amazing and was perfect for our first family holiday to bring in the new year :)

Bridport Spahouse
We recently had a family getaway and this property was wonderful. Walking distance to the beach and the spa was heaven to get into at the end of a day sight seeing. Neighbourhood is quiet and the view from the deck is fabulous.
One suggestion to the owner would be perhaps make the spa instructions available somewhere. Having said that we did contact the owner who was a great help.
We will be back in July if it is available :)

Wanted to stay forever!
Such a beautifully presented property! We felt at home straight away and so did our dog. We particularly enjoyed the view from the hot tub! Can't wait to return with some friends next time! Thanks for having us!

The area is super quiet, the spa is nice.
The area was lovely, super quiet. The home was pretty clean and well set up with beds. Would have been nice if there had at least been milk though when we arrived at 10pm at night. The spa was nice but extra towels would have been helpful. Cleaner should probably remove chipped crockery and stale food in pantry. Value for money compared to the other four places we stayed in Tasmania is debatable.

Wished we could have stayed longer
Our party of 4 adults and 1 child thoroughly enjoyed our stay. House was neat and living areas and bathrooms all very well done up. Deck with outdoor bar and outdoor couches made for a variety of relaxing spaces and the spa was the icing on the cake. We will be back.
