Breakfast was great, as is expected from Holiday Inn Express as one thing about them is that they are fairly consistent between locations and you know what to expect. Also a number of restaurants within a five minute walk.

One side of the hotel is right next to a fairly busy road with some noise, not a lot of noise but a fair amount.

The hot tub was cold, swimming pool water was way too cold too

The staff is mostly non existent! the hot tub is so hot, it is not enjoyable. staff were told on our first night and it was never addressed. When checking out another guest complained and was given lip service about having someone look into it, same thing we were told three nights earlier. The pool water is so cloudy you cannot see your own hand under the water. Told staff about that too and they gave an excuse about how they check the water and shock it and that is just how the pool is. We stayed here two years ago and the pool was crystal clear, so it is definitely not being maintained correctly. The valence for the window in our room was removed and leaning in the corner of the room. There was a hockey team that checked in on our last night and was completely out of control in the pool area. Throwing a football wildly around the pool with no regard for others, blocking the slide so other guests could not use. Hotel staff allowed the hockey team to bring out their nets and play hockey in the lobby with no regard to the other paying guests sitting there trying to watch curling on the lobby tv. This hotel has gone downhill fast as we stayed here two years ago and had a completely different experience. Needless to say we will not stay at this hotel again.

i love the breakfast thats it some staff are friendly ..

first we went to a room that smells like someone had a smoke in the room im pregnant so im kinda scared and sensitive so we asked the receptionist to change our room so we went to the second room but it was so dusty and the sheets has stain on especially hair it so me and my daughter’s skin got really itchy because of the sheets that they used i didnt complain again or anything because i feel like its too much and we only stay for 2 nights that why but next time i will talk to the manager or someone if we stay there again. I used to work as a housekeeper with 5 stars too dust is big deal for me and stain, hair. cleanliness is a big deal for me thats all i was expecting..
