We have stayed here multiple times. Right above the Salmon River- the sounds will lull you to sleep. Clean and comfortable! Wonderful place to stay!

Riggins is special: an access town to a spectacular river. The "Hideaway" is a very nice, upgraded very private space in a house overlooking the river in the middle of Riggins. The Hideway has all the comforts in a small package and is wonderfully unique. The hosts are very friendly and helpful. This is a very nice choice for staying in the very unique Riggins.

A very quite tucked away cabin right in the middle of town. Very private and relaxing with all that's needed for a layed back getaway. I really enjoyed our 4 night stay and would definitely stay again.

Very clean home with everything you need. Situated well so there is no road noise, you only hear the river. A very relaxing place to stay. Check in was extremely easy. We would definitely stay there again on our next fishing trip.

We loved the view, the bed was super comfortable and the water was hot!

Perfect spot for a quick one night stay.

This is a great little basement hideaway with a wonderful view of the Salmon River. Like others have said, you can't tell you are right in the sweet town of Riggins. It feels and is 'secluded' and so quiet. The hideaway has the basics you will need--no frills. It was probably stated somewhere in the description, but I didn't see that it is quite a hike down and back from the river. I'm a bit wobbly on rock and dirt trails that are steep and winding so I didn't make it down to the water. But if you've got what it takes to get to it, I'm sure it is wonderful. The town of Riggins is just up the side stairs. Plenty of bars and restaurants plus quite a few river rafting/hunting/fishing outfits and little gift and novelty stores. There is a grocery store a block away. I highly recommend Katherine Austin, L.M.T for massage. She is very professional and knows what she is doing--I felt brand new afterward! She is located in Main St. Hair Co. across the street from the InBody Hideaway. There are also hairstylists and an esthetician (facials, full waxing, and lash & brow tinting) there. They do mani/pedis and artificial nails--the gamut of services.! Very nice ladies! It is a friendly town and you can walk anywhere. My three days at the Hideaway made for a peaceful and relaxing time. I want to thank the Kittells for sharing their gem of a place. They were very accommodating and just plain nice folks. I never met them--but I can tell!

Everything was great

Quirky, clean, everything you need (except perhaps a clothes washer), good beds (super important!) and the river right outside. It was the perfect 'home base' for our family of four as we explored the area (hiking and rafting)!

Great place, wish the river was easier to get to. I didn’t realize how steep it’d be. Also, very hot and the ac in the bedroom was very annoying. Other than that, great location! Had fun cruising the bars and downtown. Perfect for what we wanted (but our dog would’ve liked better river access).

From the outside you would never know this little gem exists in it's own sanctuary. Right in the middle of Riggins within walking distance to restaurants and a grocery store. However, once at the property you can only hear the soothing sound of the river. It was perfect as home base for jet boating and hiking in Hells Canyon. Would definitely rent again!

This place is a must stay if you’re in Riggins. Hosts are very easy to work with and flexible, the view of the Salmon River off the back porch is unparalleled, and the unit is super cozy and well set up. We were even allowed to bring our small family pooches with us! Definitely recommend this one.

Gorgeous view, close to everything didn't have to drive to dining or grocery...same corner! Met all the locals and we watched white tail deer from cabin. Met Joe he's ver nice and knowledgeable about area. Loved the DVD's very relaxing spot. Will try to book again its a gem for couples.
