Desde el mensaje deseándonos un buen viaje antes de llegar, el recibimiento personal a altas horas de la mañana, la preocupación en todo momento para asegurar que estábamos cómodos, el desayuno sano, natural y delicioso, la ubicación céntrico en el casco antiguo de Santo Domingo, tranquilo pero a 2 minutos de todo, habitaciones grandes limpios fresquitos. En fin, todo genial. Enhorabuena Franky y familia por vuestro hotel fantástico.

No hay nada que no nos gustó

Bien situé dans la zone coloniale à 2 pas de la rue piétonne. Belle chambre spacieuse et grande salle de bain. Tout a été rénové. Le patron Franck (souriant, serviable et sympathique) vous accueille comme à la maison. Bon petit déjeuner.

We rented the street-facing two rooms for 3 nights, crisp, clean and fully air-conditioned, with their own roof terrace, at just two or three blocks distance from the main square and attractions of the colonial quarter. Vanessa and Franky are wonderful, charming hosts, and the (optional) breakfast was delicious & much recommended!

This is such a great hotel and I highly recommend. The price is reasonable, the location is great, the room was very comfortable, and the staff was very nice!

Everything is nice, fresh and clean. Simple, but accurate design. Amazing big terrace- that is very rare for the hotel in this price range in historic district. Good a/c, comfy beds, hot water and well equipped bathroom. Very friendly and helpful owner.

Great hosts! Location.

Great location, very good breakfast but above all great staff. I was treated as a guest, not a customer but a friend staying at the guesthouse. This is not a luxury accomodation but it is a very, comfotable place to stay.

Really I have no suggestions.

Great stay at La Aldea. The room was spacious and comfortable with shared terrasse and AC. Franky is friendly, stays in touch and is ready to help. The neighbourhood is lovely. All fantastic !

Franky is an exceptional host. You can tell that he truly cares about his guests wellbeing. The rooms are clean and spacious. It can get a little loud at night sometimes but that is not a fault of the hotel but simply the location. I would definitely recommend staying here

The place was suuuper clean, Franck is a wonderful host and welcomed us very warmly, offered help with a small medical emergency that I had. All the staff was very helpful, speaking many languages so the communication was not at all a problem. The place is perfectly located and will definitely stay there again when in SD.

La Aldea is located in the heart of the city, its closeby to most of the main tourist attractions and makes it easy to walk everywhere. It felt very safe all the time and it's also very quiet at night. Franky was very helpful and provided us with all the informations we needed.

The owner Francie was wonderful, very helpful. Gave us cold water bottles when we needed them, advice where to eat, etc. Really nice guy.

Very central and easy to reach all places in zona colonial by foot. The property itself was very clean and comfortable and Frank was a wonderful host! Will definitely stay here again.

There’s nothing to not like. Only one small comment is that I wish they accepted cards but I also understand that it’s not really a thing in DR because of the added taxes and so on.
