Our family of 4 (2 sons 18 & 21) stayed in Kerry and Carole’s lovely home off South Lamar for a 4 day visit to Austin. The house was perfect. Very clean and lots of space. Master suite was just right so we had our own bathroom. Kitchen was fully outfitted so we could save a few bucks making meals as needed. Comfy couch and good WiFi really helped when the weather wasn’t cooperating with our outdoor plans. Great backyard and deck was nice in the mornings. Absolutely perfect location to get anywhere we wanted to go - Barton Springs, Lady Bird Lake, Congress restaurants and music venues, Bee Cave area and, of course, the great downtown district. Will definitely stay again.

What a comfortable and clean home ! It has been beautifully updated and is well stocked with everything you need. The house and yard are private. 10/10 would stay there again!

Really great place. Despite being close to Lamar, it was quiet and the backyard was very peaceful, with mature trees and horseshoes (which I'm not very good at). Location was great with walkable options including coffee, restaurants and beer garden. Access to the house was easy and painless. Would return again.

I have stayed in many homes in Austin over the past years and this was by far my favorite. The host was the most communicative ever! The layout of the home was perfect for our family. The beds were so comfy. Loved the neighborhood and taking early morning walks. I just cannot say enough good things about and definitely look forward to coming back!!

My family and I had a wonderful stay at this La Casa property. The house is located in a quiet neighborhood and was clean and comfortable. The kitchen is well-stocked, and the A/C keeps the house cool even during the Texas summer. Accessing the property was easy, and the owners checked in to ensure all was well. We would definitely stay here again!

Carole and Kerry’s home is in a fantastic neighborhood, it is well appointed, well equipped, and overall a wonderful place to rent. We spent a lot of time on the nicely shaded back deck, where this is a lot of great bird watching. I plan to come back to this house many more times! It’s perfect!

We had an amazing stay. The house was so cute and charming. It was well equipped with amenities such as a blow dryer, coffee maker (my life mine), shampoo, etc. it was clean and well kept. The location was perfect and central to many things to do in Austin. Carole made our stay super welcoming from the day it was booked. She sent recommendations of places for us to check out and was only a text away if we needed anything. She made it feel like a home away from home. I would definitely stay there again!

We really enjoyed our stay at this cute house in a nice Austin neighborhood. The house is located a short distance from a busy street but was very quiet. We had no difficulty getting into the house on our day of arrival, thanks to detailed advance communication from the property owner. There was a pitcher of ice-cold filtered water in the fridge upon our arrival, which was very much appreciated after a long, hot travel day. The bedroom blinds kept the rooms very dark, which (along with the comfortable beds and pillows) made for great sleeping after a busy day of exploring the city. There was plenty of closet space and hangers. We were able to walk to several coffee shops, food trucks, and restaurants; but Uber drivers were always readily available when needed, and the cost for a ride to the downtown area was around $10-12. I highly recommend La Casa!

Relax but also close to the action
We loved our stay at La Casa. The lounge chairs in the backyard under the trees are perfect to relax and drink your morning coffee. Also super close to lots of great restaurants. We'd definitely stay here again!

Great Property!
This property was great! The host was so great with communication from booking, to check in, checking in on our stay, and check out. The house was located in a wonderful location with such fun restaurants within walking distance. The house was spotless and had great amenities for cooking. I would recommend this property to anyone looking for a fun trip to Austin.

Perfect place for our visit to Austin
My husband and I stayed with another couple, and the house lent itself well to our group. The bedrooms were set apart and so we each had our own bathroom (one ensuite) - and we didn't end up using the 3rd bedroom - so we didn't feel on top of each other. Since there were so many things to see in varied neighborhoods, it was nice to spend time in one that was quiet and easy to navigate. It was a bonus to have a nice backyard, and we spent the afternoon of one of our days reading and resting a bit under the beautiful trees. There are so many places to eat in Austin, we didn't use the kitchen much, but it seemed to have everything that you'd need if you wanted to cook. There were plenty of coffee cups and wine glasses, so we were set. :)
Overall, a great place to stay that we would recommend.

Family wedding
This was the perfect space for my husband and I and our adult daughters to stay for a family wedding. The kitchen is fully stocked and the washer and dryer were handy as we walked/ran and rode bikes in the morning along LBJ lake trail and preferred to pack clean clothes when we left. Both porches are covered and offered extra space to gather or work space for those needing to work on their computers. WI-FI was excellent. Location is also excellent and within walking distance to many stores and restaurants and coffee shops. Barton Springs is only eight minutes away and highly recommended. The hosts responded quickly to questions we had. We hope to stay here when in Austin the next time!

Such a great place.
The house was spotless when we arrived. The kitchen had everything you need to make meals at home and the backyard is perfect for enjoying a coffee in the morning and a wine in the evening. We had 4 adults and 2 children and it was perfect for us all. If back in Austin, we will be renting this again. Great communication from the owners as well.

Weddding
We had a great stay at Kerry’s Zilker house and she was very accommodating as we needed an early check in due to a rehearsal dinner. I booked this house for out of town weeding guests and they loved it! And the wedding was spectacular!

Great spring break!
We stayed with 2 teen girls to explore Austin and nearby colleges. The house had everything we needed and was a great central location to everywhere we went. Everyone had a blast and Carole was so responsive to any questions we had. We would definitely stay there again on a return trip!

Home Sweet Home
So happy to have found this perfect home for our return trip
To Austin. With 3 bedrooms, we all had our own room and easy use of the 2 bathrooms. The location was perfectly located between downtown and South Austin, which made getting around via Lyft or walking a breeze. We loved the back patio,which made for Covid free dinners with friends. The beds could use an upgrade, but the precious black cat who came to visit made up for it. Highly recommend Kerry’s spot for your next home away from home.

The property is impeccably kept. The kitchen had everything we
needed to prepare a Christmas dinner. Superb location.
And hosts that are there when you need them.
We would prefer firmer mattresses .

Stayed here with some friends for a girls trip & we absolutely loved it! The house is fantastic, clean & nicely set up with plenty of room. The neighborhood was so cute & there was plenty to do within walking distance, and a lot of popular attractions just a short car ride away. The owner is very helpful & accommodating. Would definitely stay here again!
