Idle Speed è un rifugio tranquillo nei boschi del lago Pickwick. È dotato di un open space con un portico avvolgente, 2 pozzi del fuoco, in legno su misura, un camino in pietra rustico circondato da finestre dal pavimento al soffitto e nuova lavatrice / asciugatrice. Con alloggi per 9, Idle Speed è perfetto per riunioni di famiglia, vacanze con amici e pescatori. Situato in posizione strategica vicino a 3 porti turistici, ristoranti e negozi di alimentari.
Idle Speed è perfetto per intrattenere. L'open space consente agli ospiti di trascorrere del tempo di qualità insieme a cucinare, parlare, guardare la tv, giocare e molto altro. La casa è nascosta nel bosco su un ettaro e mezzo con molta privacy dai vicini.
La grande tana vanta un bel camino in pietra con finestre dal pavimento al soffitto, un tavolo da pranzo per 6, e in legno su misura in tutto. Un sacco di luce naturale e vista sui boschi che circondano la casa. Aperto alla cucina e al soppalco, gli ospiti possono socializzare liberamente sulla cabina.
La cucina dispone di pavimenti in legno, nuovi piani di lavoro in granito, fornelli elettrici, lavastoviglie, frigorifero, compattatore per rifiuti, caffettiera, frullatore, piastra elettrica, macchina per la cialde e tutte le pentole, padelle e piatti in casseruola necessari. Lavanderia situata fuori dalla cucina con una nuova lavatrice e asciugatrice. Un sacco di detersivo e accessori situati in armadietti.
La master suite è fuori dalla cucina e comprende un letto matrimoniale, 2 armadi, piano di lavoro in granito, doccia separata e vasca idromassaggio. Asciugacapelli situato nel cassetto del bagno principale.
Il piano superiore comprende un loft principale e secondario. Il loft principale comprende un letto completo, due letti singoli, un divano letto estraibile e un bagno completo con piano di lavoro in granito. Sali fino al soppalco superiore per trovare un altro letto completo.
All'aperto troverete un ponte avvolgente e una griglia a carbone. Un separato schermato in veranda con un comodo sezionale, buca per il fuoco a gas e tavolo da pub. We invited our grown children to join our family vacation. They spent the days working remotely from the house while we took our younger two out exploring the area during the day. We all reconvened in the evenings by enjoying suppers together and hanging out as a family in the treehouse having great conversations well into the night. It was peaceful and wonderful. The hosts were super communicative over minor issue and worked quickly with us to resolve it. I definitely recommend staying here in this peaceful and quiet setting.

We’ve stayed at this property in the past and it’s still a hit. It is clean and well maintained. The tree house and top loft is always a favorite! Meredith is friendly and communicates everything you need while still being assessable. We’re be back soon!

This property was amazing! Cabin feel, beautiful windows! Everything we needed and things we didn’t think we would need were all there. Absolutely loved the tree house and deck! Clean and comfortable. The host was amazing. Meredith checked on us throughout. The area is perfect for a long weekend with the family. We did not want to leave.

Air didn’t work properly. 76-80 degrees is best we got Grandkids had to sleep downstairs because it was too hot to sleep upstairs

We had an excellent time at Idlespeed for a long weekend. Everything is just as it is captured in the pictures and more! The owner is very engaged in making the stay as pleasant as possible. Hopefully it will be available the next time we are over that way.

Great place to stay while fishing lake Pickwick.
The place was clean, nice and perfectly located for what we wanted. There was a load of towels in the washing machine that had mildewed, but we washed and put up. Other than that, the experience was great and will stay again if we are ever in the area.

This was the perfect place for me to take my daughter and her bridesmaids for some awesome food awesome games and great environment for pictures. We loved the access to so many different places around. This house was the perfect spot for a group of girls.

A few minutes from Shiloh
This is the first time ever reserving a home online. I had reservations (not sure) but hoping like heck it wasn't a scam. This has been a very positive experience, there are other dates I need to get homes reserved for and I'm sticking with Vrbo.!! Totally!. The house worked well and the only question we had regarding an item was answered by our host in a quick fashion and fixed to our satisfaction.almost immediately. I wouldn't hesitate to give 4+ rating.

Just what the doctor ordered
My family and I needed a getaway and this property was perfect. It was clean and had everything you needed stocked. If you need anything it’s close to a store and grocery. It was spacious and exactly as pictured. The only down side was I wished I would’ve booked more time. I didn’t want to leave however I will be back!

The cabin was amazing and Meredith was so helpful. Bathrooms were well stocked with towels and toiletries. There was enough seating in the livingroom and at the table for our family. Beds were comfy.

July 4th Friends and family
We enjoyed our stay. Easy check in/check out. Beautiful cabin with a comfortable couch, great living room and kitchen. Surprised at the amenities.. we forgot some items- no problem- they were supplied already! The two driveways were nice- one for the car and one to park the truck and trailer. Thank you for allowing us to rent your cabin! Look forward to another stay.

Great getaway
We throughly enjoyed our stay, it was clean and well stocked with extras. Short distance to Shiloh Battle Field and Pickwick Lake. We enjoyed all the trees and wild life. Only negative thing I have to say the stairs are to steep and the railing is to short for safety.

Grandparent trip
We took our grands for our first grandparent summer camp. This house was perfect. The kids loved sleeping in the loft. The highlight was the tree house. We had so much fun. The owners have the house stocked with anything you could need. Definitely going back. My next trip will be a girl’s weekend.

Great retreat!
We enjoyed this lovely house. We had morning coffee in the treehouse. The house was very well stocked with things you don’t often get when renting. Great location! Very close to the Grand Harbor Marina if you want to rent a boat. Will stay again!
