We visited Venice, FL for the month of January. Although the weather was all over the place we enjoyed our stay and the house had all that you could possibly need. The owner was readily available and helpful. Easy,friendly communication.
We didn’t get to use the pool due to cooler temps and just doing all the things to do in the Venice/Sarasota area, but the pool/ lanai area is a great spot to just chill out .
Shamrock park is so, so close and a delight for walking, and biking.
The month went by so quickly! Really enjoyed our time in the area and at the house.

We have stayed a few times here in the past and have always enjoyed our stay, we are looking forward to our next stay. Having the yard fenced in was a big plus for my dog, so he enjoyed his stay too.

Jason is an awesome owner. Always in touch with us. Any issues and he will fix it immediately! House is lovely and has a heated pool and nice size yard. Everything you could want or need is there! We found about 300 shark teeth while visiting the local beachs! We will be staying here again!

I try to visit different areas each year and this stay was AMAZING. The neighborhood was fantastic, the house was spottless, the pool and lanai and back yard were the star of the show! Couldn't of asked for a better outdoor area. The 8 foot tall privacy fence not only offered great privacy like you were in your own little resort but it was secure enough my 5 lb dog couldn't get out. I will definitely be returning.

I would love to send pictures! The house was filthy. Beds had been slept in, I have pictures to show blood or something on sheets and also a clot of blood. Every room was discussing, even put our beach towels down to sit on furniture. We used paper towels to open doors as they were dirty. The pictures do NOT show the real home but my pictures do! First time using VRBO and this house needs removed!!!!! Not sure if this is what all VRBO homes look like??

We booked this house based on the great reviews. This house had everything we needed for a wonderful two week stay. The house is next door to a beautiful park and biking trails that go forever! The owner provides bikes and beach gear! They have thought of everything you would need for a perfect stay.

We loved our VRBO so much we ended up cooking most meals on the grill and spending day and night by the pool. We did a little exploring but relaxing in the backyard with our family in that great Florida weather was exactly what we needed this vacation. Hosts thought of anything we might need and had it handy. We can't wait to visit again.

A Total 10+ Experience
Renting Jason & Ann’’s house in Venice was spectacular in every way! The location next to the Shamrock Nature Preserve, the perfectly private solar heated swimming pool, the comfy beds, a kitchen that had a multitude of staples, and plenty of them, the array of modern bikes (no less than 8), great entertainment equipment and superb WI-FI- it all worked to deliver a most delightful 4 weeks. Jason’ is a great communicator who leaves no detail left undone. His knowledge of the area and its multitude of walking trails, restaurants, and local attractions is solid! Two suggestions I would add would be a dishwasher and perhaps an entry/access sustem that was operated electronically via a code that could be punched into the door lock to enter the property. It could be used without a key and changed at the owners description. My 2 cents. We will be back!

Great Trip

Perfect for 2 couples traveling together
We rented this property along with my daughter and her husband. We loved the set up of this house. There is a central location for couples to gather when they want to, but equally important, it has opposite ends of the house for couples to retreat to for time away from each other. It is a lovely house with all the conveniences of home. We were very comfortable in this house. The quiet neighborhood was lovely, we went on many evening walks and felt very safe. Jason was fantastic. I called him a few times and he was awesome every time.

Quiet neighborhood and nice pool and screen in patio and pool
We have been coming to Venice for over 15 years and have always stayed in hotels. Not anymore. This house is in a quiet neighborhood only a couple blocks from shamrock park and close to beaches. Very well located. Enjoyed the pool and covered Porch. House is as advertised older cinderblock house with lots of Florida charm. Bed was comfortable and air conditioning worked great for us (we like it cold). TVs in every room with exfinity cable and access to Netflix etc. Plenty of toys available in garage such as bikes tennis rackets and other beach related items. Owner checked in several times. Great location, home and neighborhood.
We didn’t find much time to relax since our trip turn towards more business rather then pleasure due to bid accepted on another place. We enjoyed the pool area, how open it was and spent time there plotting out our day before hitting the road for many house walk throughs. Each time it wonderful coming back to an inviting treasure in south Venice. Loved going to the private beach and loved the comical boat captain.

Perfect Florida vacation
We throughly enjoyed our stay! The house was perfect, it was clean the kitchen was well equipped, and beds were comfortable . Our location was convenient to and in a great neighborhood. My husband I walked the Nqture preserve just 5 minutes away every evening we loved seeing all the wildlife. The pool was a great added bonus as were the bikes and beach chairs. We would definitely recommend this home and we would stay here again. The owners were very responsive and easy to deal with, Thank you for sharing your home Jason

Absolutely loved this home!
This was our first experience using VRBO and was thrilled with the result! Jason Holder, Owner of home, was a fantastic host and we couldn't have been happier! We immediately felt at home; pool was great, backyard was great and we had everything we needed for the beach and pool right there!

We appreciated Jason letting us increase the number of days after we booked. The house is in a good area near several beaches and park. Red tide was occurring which made us travel 2 hours south to get to a beach without dead bad smelling fish all over it. I'd recommend anyone going to the gulf area try to monitor that situation and keep it in mind when booking this time of year. We were there mainly 1st and 2nd week of August. The accommodations at the house were everything you needed except bring a good can opener. The pool was great and maintenence came Mondays for it and yard upkeep. Tons of bikes and beach stuff there to use. Plenty of linens and towels there and enough to do well with cooking.The home is animal friendly but the yard is not fully fenced.The only thing we were not sure about the home was me and boyfriend were itching more every night that passed with bites. My daughter did not have that issue and she stayed in the main bedroom. It was not bedbugs because my boyfriend is allergic to those and acts different and we saw no fleas and our dog did not itch so we were really confused as to what was causing it. It went away when we were back in Georgia. Summary - good family rental in good location but check for red tide and take lots of cortisone.

Vacation extended getaway
Overall a great place to rent and stay. Great location, within minutes to several different beaches and only an hour to Sanibel. The pool was fantastic in the evenings after day at the beach. Definitely recommend and look forward to the next trip.
