What a cute little cottage with all of the comforts of home and clean!!!. The bed was comfy and we slept so well with peace and quiet. We loved having a kitchen and well stocked with pots, pans and etc. Faye was very responsive when I messaged her. I give this stay a 10/10. We loved our stay and will definitely stay again.

We had a wonderful stay in the cottage close to old downtown Roseville. It’s in a quiet neighborhood with many restaurants and breweries nearby. The property is very well maintained and the private yard was very cute. We had a wonderful stay.

We enjoyed a 2 part stay with Faye as part of our visit to see our grandson. It was the second location due to our having arrived earlier due to our grandson's premature arrival. Faye had the perfect location for as as she was only one house away from where they lived. Not only was the location perfect, but "Sophie's Cottage" was everything we needed due to Faye's being the perfect host. There was everything we would need in the small kitchen, and the bathroom was well stocked. She even had a shelf that provided items we may have forgotten to pack. The bed was very comfortable. The small garden that could be seen from the bedroom was beautiful and with a table and chairs and a grill, it allowed for a nice location for my wife to do some work as well as having our daughter, her husband, and the baby over for a couple of evenings. The overall location being just off a main road that connected to a major highway that connected a north-south connection to Sacramento and north to Tahoe. It also is well withing walking distance to downtown Roseville. We found a Trader Joe's that was a longer walk but enjoyable. Nearby were parks and bike/walking trail. We will back to Roseville thanks to Faye's having provided us with such a beautiful experience!

Sophie’s cottage was the perfect home to stay for a weekend in Roseville. Very cute, quaint, had absolutely everything we needed. Faye was generous enough to help us get more propane for the bbq when we ran out. She was a great host! Would definitely recommend to anyone!

This little cottage is too cute! Just what my daughter and i needed for a busy weekend. We arrived late the first night and it was easy to find with the lights lining the driveway path. We walked in and a basket of treats were waiting for us. This place exceeded our expectations and we also enjoyed the backyard. Only downside was not having enough time! Roseville is a cute town and if we ever return i will be sure to book my stay at Sophie's cottage!

We came to town to visit family in Roseville, Auburn and Meadow Vista. We just needed an affordabel place to sleep comfortably. This cottage was the perfect size plus good location. It was a very hot weekend and the a/c was wonderful. When we needed help with the cable set-up, our Host immediately came over and lent us a tablet so my husband could watch golf (wasn't necessary, but my husband appreciate it). And shortly after we left to go out, she came back and got the cable up and running.
We highly recommend this cottage. NOTE: this cottage is near a train track and we never heard it. :) Added bonus was the basket of snacks the Host had for us.

We loved Sophie’s cottage! Beautiful private garden, and lovely inside also! Welcoming details, very thoughtful host. The bedding and furniture were very comfortable and it was very quiet.

We had a great time staying at the cottage. It was exactly like it was described. Faye was amazing and grabbed a different tv, when ours went out at 9pm. Amazing!!! Would definitely stay there again.

This place was truly perfect for 1 to 2 people, it was centrally located to everything but tucked away in a gorgeous little neighborhood that made you feel secluded and totally private. We slept with windows open and car unlocked for three days and had zero issues. The owner/manager is also a gem, we arrived to a gift basket of assorted snacks and lovely artwork and decorative touches, the yard was gorgeous, and we can't wait to return. I was also blown away by everything provided "in case we forgot anything" which included everything I could have thought of and tons of things I wouldn't have. I really can't recommend this place highly enough. Loved it!

Great location for getting around Roseville. Love the cozy outdoor seating and yard. Cottage is clean and nicely done. Owner is very responsive and friendly. Appreciate that it is dog friendly! As my husband said "A+"

It was an absolute pleasure staying at Sophie’s Cottage. Well appointed, very clean, and in close proximity to good restaurants should you want to eat out. The sitting area is very nice, but the back yard was where we enjoyed our wine and visits with friends. It is just lovely and very private. This host definitely goes out of her way to make your stay enjoyable. We will definitely be staying here again when we return.

Such a cute vacation rental. Love the beautiful fenced back yard and patio. Enjoyed coffee outside each day. Near shopping and great restaurants yet located off the beaten path. Second stay and will definitely stay again.

This is a perfect cottage with an exceptional host. Very comfortable bed & the home is extremely clean. Faye obviously has a green thumb as the private backyard area has gorgeous flowers & plants...such a joy to view & spend time there! Faye's attention to the needs of her guests is unmatchable. I would certainly stay here again!

We had a perfect stay at Sophie’s Cottage. Many little touches made our experience wonderful including the welcome basket. The bed was so very comfortable too. Just wish we had actually spent more time there during our busy stay! Hope to be able to return on our next trip to the area.

This little cottage was absolutely perfect for me and my family! Faye even left us a cute basket of goodies to welcome us. They have some condiments already in the fridge and had k-cups for the keurig. In the bathroom cabinet they had some essentials in case we forgot anything. Which was so useful since we forgot to pack some shampoo for our kiddo. The cottage was super clean and even though it was over 100 degrees outside, the a/c kept the cottage very comfortable and cool. If we’re ever out that way again we would definitely book this place. Highly recommended!

I was a little sad about the location but after we entered the gate I was just amazed at the surroundings. Everything you needed was somehow thought of. I have been to five star hotels and was always in need of something but not here. It was absolutely beautiful and serene.

Our 2nd stay in this Roseville History Home....tidy and neat, clean and comfortable nestled in the old railroad housing area of older Roseville. We love the cottage! Small, comfortable, cozy with all the special features one could imagine! Faye is the greatest! We can't wait to return again in October!!!

Cute pleasant stay
The cottage was a cute place inside and out. A nice little patio for a nice outdoor meal and a secure area for our furry friend. The bed is super comfy and a nice blow up mattress for my boy. My boys only complaint was the wifi was not fast enough for his gaming. Beyond that, we had a great 2 day break from normal life. Thanks!

Best experience ever!
Faye was an excellent manager of this property and treated us like family - she left treats for us on arrival, when she found out we were going to San Francisco for a day trip she gave us some sweatshirts (because we'll feel the cold near the Bay!) and got beachchairs for us to take to the beach - so accommodating and friendly - it was like staying with a family member than a VRBO! Would definitely come here again if I ever get the chance, it was an excellent accommodation!

Relaxing Bday
This year for my birthday I wanted to go on a staycation. Sleeping in king size bed, get away from the kids. We were going to invite friends over to play board games and grill a little on the barbecue. Everyone was busy. Sophie‘s cottage was still a dream. There were bowls for the dog and poop bags so many conveniences that we had packed were already at the room. It was easy to find and there were lovely places to walk to where we could eat with the dog outside. I really enjoyed eating breakfast on my birthday under the fig tree in the attached yard. We also met the front building tenants and their dog. Real nice people. Our dog wanted to play so badly. First time VRBO user and it was a great weekend! Looking forward to our next escape.

Cute Cottage-Perfect Space
Loved the cozy cottage and beautiful outdoor private garden. All the amenities made it a perfect place to just hang out and relax. Walking distance to fantastic restaurants made it perfect. Faye is a great hostess-super responsive and very accommodating. Couldn’t recommend it more.
