Great querky little beach house feel. We enjoyed our stay. Beach is a 3 minute walk. Great area to stay.

Enjoyable and comfortable stay for a couple. A few kitchen pantry staples would be a finishing touch to a well appointed kitchen.

The property was not properly restocked as listed in the ad also the host were very rude and he rudely accused us that we had no Intentions of paying $25 for the linen fee. And we had not even packed up and left the property yet

We had such a lovely time, the place was in a great, quiet spot - close drive to all of the best the Fleurieu has to offer!
Fantastic to be able to bring our dogs with us, they absolutely LOVED the place, lovely little backyard for them to explore.
Clean, tidy and filled with all the essentials including coffee machine! We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves, thank you to our fantastic host John who was so helpful and friendly

I really enjoyed my stay. Even though my old knees didnt like those steps. But it is a wonderful quirky place with lots of interesting paraphernalia hanging around. A lovely spot. Very quiet.

It was an attractive cottage in a pretty and quiet location. It had everything to make for a comfortable stay including good kitchen utensils.
The hosts were friendly and generous.

A nice, comfortable, quiet cottage in pleasant garden setting. A short drive to the beautiful Carrickalinga beach. The owner even offered to drive me to the boutique brewery up on the hill if I wanted to drink - and to bring me back after.

Absolutely lovely pet friendly place. Lovely hosts. Everything you need is available at the house.
Location is fantastic if you want a beach...swim....fishing.

An awesome little spot, to have our quick getaway, with all what we needed. Communication was fantastic, right from the booking and moving forward and everything supplied was as stated online. We will be back, thanks again , feeling recharged. Di Marc and Brett, and our little dog Marls

We chose this property as it was good value for money and a short walk from the beach .Perfect location for stargazing . Our stay coincided with the Geminid showers and we saw them at 2 am .A magical experience

A great little beach shack themed place. Lots of interesting decor to look at and read. Has a modern updated bathroom and awesome outdoor area. We didn't take a dog with us but great to see that dogs are welcomed, even a little bed in the bedroom for dogs. Our only hiccup was getting woken up with a fright from the upstais smoke alarm mysteriously going off at 6am on the first morning. Overall though it was an affordable clean tidy place with a good vibe in the quiet backstreets of Carrickalinga. Would recommend.

The accommodation was nice and well maintained. The property owner was very nice and welcoming, he even helped us get our case upstairs. Unfortunately because it had stairs and the only toilet was upstairs we struggled because of our physical capabilities. My husband thought the beach was closer than it was. I don’t think we will stay there again.

The property is clean and well maintained perfect for a couple or small family with 2 dogs. It's what a good shack experience should be. Not new and modern but rather welcoming and comfortable. So close to so many good beaches and fishing spots and all the holiday take away you need. Will be back!

Secluded, green, restful, relaxing. Hosts are SO informative about the local attractions and are a charming, engaging couple. Every detail attended to and ease of booking and access to property was great. Wonderful place for our doggie, safe enclosure.

Perfectly located, clean, quirky holiday stay. So close to the off-lead beach. Took my dog and we had a great time. Appreciated the safety gate at the top of the stairs to keep him contained on the lower floor. Everything was just as described. Hosts are lovely. Back yard a good size and nicely secure. Only small downside is there is no screen door on the front entry so had to be aware when leaving the property, packing car etc to have the lead on the dog to keep him safe.

We had a lovely stay and it was perfect with our pup in tow. The beach is a short walk away and the back yard is lovely and secure. The hosts live next door and provided useful info on activities to do and places to see while in the area.

My wife and I had a very lovely stay, the property was perfect for our needs, walking distance to the beach and secure back yard for our two dogs to explore. Would like to visit again during warmer months!

Fantastic pet friendly holiday accommodation only a couple of minutes walk from some of the best beaches in South Australia. The house has pretty much everything you need and is very comfortable. John the host was excellent with his communication and very easy to deal with. Our 2 whippets had a great time as did we. Many thanks for providing us with a lovely holiday experience. Bill

Great location. Delightfully decorated. Fabulous outdoor living area. Difficult internal stairs to toilet on first floor. Fold out Lounge suitable for children only. Lovely hosts reside next door and checked on us and were generous with advice. Excellent for a younger couple.

The property is clean and neat and the outdoor area is really lovely. Stairs are quite steep up to the bedroom but overall a really nice place. Recommended.
