The Villa is lovely with comfy beds and a great pool. Staff are extremely helpful and friendly.

For us the location is a little too far away from the restaurants and beach as we like to walk everywhere. But its not a straight walk from the villa to the restauarant area due to limited places to cross the main highway. You have to walk out of your way to cross the highway and then walk back. If you had a scooter it wouldnt be an issue. However, all we did was book a car through the "Grab" app when we wanted to go out - a driver was never more than 5 mins away and it only cost Rp25,000 to be dropped at the restaurant street which was around 5 min trip.

Absolutely perfect! The house is beautiful, the rooms are big and clean, the swimming pool is nice and the cook/cleaning lady (Agung) is lovely. We stayed there in march 2023 and I highly recommend it.

Everything is according to what I expected, in a good way. I found serenity during my stay, even though the location of this property is close to a busy area. I highly recommend this villa, especially if you plan to have a staycation with your family.

One day in the afternoon, one of the neighbor burned his trash until the villa area was full of smoke causing air pollution. Unfortunately, this one bad experience that made my stay just barely perfect.

Checked out time is 11am but the cleaning lady was already there at 9:30. I just wished she came until closer to check in time to give us more privacy. It just a little uncomfortable to have someone go in and out while we are still in the villa.

Beautiful, traditional villa with open-air living area and comfortable lounge seating comprising of a 2 seater sofa and 2 lounge chairs. Fully equipped kitchen with dining table with five dining chairs. Living area overlooked the private pool and beautiful gardens. Ceiling fans in living area. Large and comfortable beds and beautifully appointed air-conditioned bedrooms. While the bathroom was open-air it was possible to lock the bathroom door from inside the bedroom for increased security. Televisions in bedrooms and living area, however, we did not use these during our stay so cannot comment on programming. Large, clean and well-maintained pool with both full sun and shade throughout the day. Pleasant water temperature. Washing machine and drying rack very convenient as we prefer to do our own laundry. From our understanding having a washing machine in a private villa is a rarity in Bali. Many coat hangers available in the laundry and excellent awnings to hang clothes from outside the bedrooms, ensuring speedy drying times. Interesting surroundings to observe local life. While not in the main tourist area, easy to order an inexpensive car to and from the villa. No issues with deliveries to the address. Walking distance to smaller shops and local restaurants. Good warung just behind villa for delivery. Beach and shopping within 10 minutes, by car, of the villa. We used Grab, which was efficient and inexpensive (purchase a local sim for data from a local vendor, who will register it for you, to use the app). We found ordering transport by the Grab app especially convenient as the price is fixed beforehand, we could link a credit card for payment, and the pick up address and destination already entered. Cleaning staff very helpful , efficient and attentive. We are thankful to the staff member, Made, who met us on arrival in the early hours of the morning when our flights had been delayed.

No plumbed hot water in the kitchen. We rewashed many of the utensils with hot, boiled water prior to using them and purchased a new sponge for the kitchen. An electric kettle would be safer than the stove stop kettle supplied. One guest suffered severe steam burns while using the kettle to heat up water to wash the dishes. We did not want to use the filtered heated water for the dishes as we were concerned the water would run out. Small garbage bin with broken lid which had been poorly repaired; bin did not seal properly. Would suggest in investing in a new larger foot pedal bin for better hygiene and to reduce insects. Toilets were dated and stained, really needed replacing! Bathrooms needed more hooks/towel racks. Some pool towels stained. Cleaning supplies left out in the open. No safety deposit box, BBQ, or tumble dryer, despite being advertised as facilities on Booking.com. Animal life could be disconcerting for some travellers; we appreciated the geckos, however, noise from barking dogs, roosters, and cats at night, could be an issue for some people. Not quite walking distance to everything in the heat. Packs of dogs in the area surrounding the villa, aggressive when walking past to get to the main road. We did not venture out walking after dark, but may have been unsafe. A villa was being constructed next door. It was not a huge issue for us until the last few days when the workers began using power tools. No communication prior to arrival regarding housekeeping hours. Not informed prior to our stay that housekeeping would not attend the villa two days during our stay due to a public holiday and regular day off. Additionally, not informed about garbage collection; subsequently, rubbish not collected during our stay, which could be a health concern. Staff were at the villa for many hours during the day, which we believe is typical in Bali; however, limited privacy and made us uncomfortable.
