The property was situated close to the sea front with a small balcony from which we could view the sea. It, had its own underground garage, so we were able to leave our car without worry, It had everything we needed, a very well stocked kitchen, washer/dryer, microwave oven plus an electric oven and ceramic hob, a double bedroom, another with twin beds and the 3rd with bunk beds. The furnishings were modest but well kept and clean with a dining table that would seat 6. The property also felt safe as it has a locked communual door, a door to each floor followed by the apartment door.

There are one or two areas that need tweeking - some of the radiators were new but a couple of the others looked very old and we found it difficult to get any heat from them and the central heating control was very noisy. The kitchen water was not controlled by the central heating but from a boiler that was housed in the corridor and had to be turned on when hot water was needed. The hot tap in the kitchen did not have much of a flow of water and consequently, it took a while to get enough water to wash up crockery.

Great location with a Sea view from the balcony. Close to all amenities and underground parking. Key pickup and drop off was fairly straightforward but Lyme Bay Holidays is not particularly close by to the flat so this might be an issue for some travellers.

No real issues as such. Bay View Court is on quite a busy road as it's one of the main routes out of Lyme. Parking in the small car park underneath the flats is a bit of a challenge when others are parked in there. The only thing that wasn't clear when we booked was the fact that no towels are provided. This only became clear on receipt of an email prior to arrival. 5pm check in and 10am checkout was a bit of a restriction but may have been COVID related.
