It was a great experience! I brought my grandkids . The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars all the way is because some people may not be comfortable with the neighborhood dog coming up . I love animals though and he is very friendly even to small kids .

What a wonderful spring break we had here! The cabin was clean, well-stocked, and very well cared for. The kayaks and large outdoor space along the creek were a real treat, as was the fire pit where we roasted marshmallows at night. Easy to find and close to Smith Lake, our whole crew had a wonderful little vacation! The host is incredibly responsive and made the entire experience a breeze!

This little cabin was everything my wife, 6 yr old son and I were looking for. The hosts delivered firewood and were very accommodating with everything. My son and I were looking to fish and roast hot dogs and marshmallows over the fire and my wife was looking to get away and kick back and enjoy the stay. We all were able to do just that. The hosts even drove back by and brought my son and I a few lures I didn’t have in my box specific to what we wanted to catch. He didn’t have to do this but very much appreciated!! Although we didn’t have very much luck this time only being there a couple nights plenty of area to fish though. Might try and bring the boat next time since there is what I would say was a private launch right beside it on the property. There was a gate so not going to have a problem with public launch right next to you. We tried a place down the road “arrowhead bar and grill”. Glad we did. Kid friendly and good food. Cabin was very neat inside spiral staircase to loft upstairs. Our son pretty much claimed that as his area as soon as we walked in. We also enjoyed the dog that came to visit with us while we sat out by the fire. Very sweet and has been around plenty of people. I wasn’t nervous one bit with the family. Son said I think he’s sad we are leaving lol😂. We will definitely be coming back again boat or not. We will be looking forward to more time on our next visit.

My family and I had a great stay at this precious cabin over our Mardi Gras break! It was so cute and cozy and had everything that we needed. The host was very helpful.

There was a man riding his four wheeler around the cabin all hours of the night. he would sit outside my window and tap on the window. he would try to open the front door. i was terrified. the dock was dangerous. the cabin was cute. but had an odor. i had to spend money i did not have to rent another place to stay.

We enjoyed our stay. We love d the cabin and it was very clean.

The cabin is just adorable. We loved the rustic decor and location. The cabin is well appointed with everything you need for a relaxing getaway. We especially enjoyed the firepit at night. And the daytime was filled with fishing, and canoeing.

This Smith Lake retreat was comfortable, decorated well, and very pleasant.

We had such a great time staying here! It’s very beautiful! Also, it was a plus that our dog could come too!

Our family of 3 (plus our dog m) rented this cabin for 4th of July weekend. We have family in the area and it was the perfect location. The cabin is adorable and is stocked with everything you need. The loft is perfect for kids. We took the canoe out and spent lots of time on the deck that faces the water. We would absolutely rent this place again!

The cabin was better than described, incredibly cute, and well equipped. Great access to the water which we enjoyed on our kayaks. Very clean with everything we could need. We stocked up before we came because there’s no close shopping (and its in a dry county), so we were able to stay and relax the whole time. Would stay here again.

Me and 4 others stayed for a birthday weekend getaway, and we absolutely LOVED this little cabin. It was the perfect size for us. The inside was so clean and cozy. It felt like home. The porch patio was wonderful to chill and look out onto the lake. Loved the fire pit and access to the lake with the private dock! My ONLY complain is that the dock didn’t have a ladder to get in/out of the lake. It took us a minute to figure a way out of the water once we jumped in. Other than that, I have no complaints whatsoever. Truly enjoyed it!! I look forward to hopefully renting this next year as well! ☀️

I loved this atmosphere and I will be excited for me and my husband to come back! The kids enjoyed fishing! Just wish it was a little warmer outside!

We stayed for the weekend. We wanted a peaceful relaxing weekend and that is exactly what we got!! They thought of everything! Everything was clean and well taken care of. They even had kayaks and a lounge chair on the deck for people to use.

It's was very stress free the entire process

This cabin is a perfect size and location for 2 adults 2 children . We had a wonderful weekend getaway on the river and enjoyed our evening by the fire. The only issues we had were that the washer & dryer were not working and the futon mattress needs replaced it is thin and worn out.

We enjoyed our stay at this cute rustic lakeside cabin. It had a fire pit, lake dock, canoe and kayaks! Best of all we could have our dogs with us! We would definitely stay there again!

My brother and I needed a getaway during Christmas and this was our perfect way to do so. This cabin was comfortable for the both of us and our large dogs. We even took the kayaks out on the lake, which was VERY low. Overall, a great, easy experience.

This cabin was perfect for my boyfriend and I as a weekend getaway! We enjoyed the location, the cabin, the views, and privacy! When we arrived, it was very easy to get in and everything was super clean. We were very happy with our stay.

over the top charming cozy all wood inside ( hand built by hosts) firewood delivery & dining suggestions by there Bright daughter & companion dogs were more than helpful super quiet at night could hear coyotes in the distance all in all it was refreshing to know there is a different way of life out there with super nice people (& thanks again husband Jer 4 getting r cummins humming back 2 FLA !)

We had a great weekend! Great cabin for getting away. I would recommend it. Kitchen well stocked, plenty of hot water, cozy cabin and porch. A much needed retreat! A few things to be aware of - spiral staircase to loft is narrow and steep - prob best for kids. As others said, close to street. Dog pack roaming (not owners fault) and some gunshots, though it was Halloween weekend. After rains, it was muddy so there was difficulty getting to the pier (steep and muddy). However we had a fabulous time and made fantastic memories! Thank you!

My family had a great time. The canoe and kayaks were a plus. Every amenity you need is there. Well thought out and relaxing little place. We would do it again.

It was decorated so cute with all kind of wildlife items. Real rustic inside with a fire pit out the back door. The granddaughters enjoyed the canoe. If we hadn't spent so much time going to the MANY flea markets, they could have used the kayaks plus it rained our last day. Overall, a wonderful weekend girls trip!!!

The cabin had everything we needed plus more! Extremely clean plenty a room for a family of five, there were four of us, We had a small Keurig here plus coffee pods and all the little things you would need from home! My husband in the boys loved the kayaks and being able to hang out at the river. The local said the river is low but we still had plenty of waterfront! The cabin was super clean, that’s a must for me!

We loved our stay in the cabin. We came for an archery competition and enjoyed relaxing in the cabin each evening. We enjoyed using the kayaks and paddling down the inlet. The cabin is just as pictured and located with each access to the water. It was a very restful trip!

The property was absolutely gorgeous and a perfect location. We loved the dock, kayaks, and fire pit. The property owner communication with us was great. We will definitely be back.

Beautiful Cabin by the bridge. The cabin had everything you could possibly need for cooking. futon + bed upstairs for the kids. Loved our stay here.
