We were 3 friends on a girls weekend. Bedroom each, large bathroom, cosy lounge room, great kitchen to sit and chat in over morning coffees, very quiet and comfortable.

All was great. No negatives.

A great cottage with bonus breakfast items included. Air-conditioning kept us warm as we were visiting in winter and electric blankets were great to stay that way. Short trip into town and near the wineries.

Not much

Freezing cold. Lots of mosquitoes. Incorrect door code. many phone calls to caretaker to let us in out of the cold and rain. The only place to get warm was in bed.

We unlocked the door to the cosy warm cottage, and wow, beautifully and tastefully decorated. There is a nespresso coffee machine, stove, air fryer and decent size fridge, TV and comfortable sofas. Bathroom is spacious, so you have more than enough room to stretch out when drying after the shower etc. The beds were very comfortable with luxurious linen, and electric blankets to warm up on the chilly nights. There were ample provisions for breakfast (bacon, eggs, milk, juice, bread, cereals, fruit, jams, butter, pods, and an assortment of posh teas), and port and chocolates to have in the evenings. The location is quiet, and right on the riesling trail, and there are plenty of great places nearby. We can recommend the bakery at Greg Cooley wines, as well as that winery. There is also a very good Indian restaurant (Indii) in Clare.
