Lovely home right on the lake. Had everything you could want. Just relaxed and enjoyed the sights from any one of the 3 decks.

The location was amazing. The owners were so kind and came to welcome us and show us around. The house needed a bit of TLC but the owners were open to talking about our opinion and appreciated our thoughts. Within 48 hrs they had things touched up. We enjoyed town and things to do.

We had a such wonderful stay here and didn't want to leave! The view is absolute perfection and the way the sun shines in through the picture windows in the afternoon makes the entire space feel warm and cozy. Our pup loved sitting on the deck in the morning with me, watching the pelicans swim peacefully on the lake. We enjoyed cooking meals in the kitchen and loved having a wood fire every evening. We can't wait to come back!

Cabin is right on the lake. Beautiful view of lake from Master Bedroom and deck. Cabin is very clean and comfortable. Had a great time fishing off the dock with the grand kids. Will defiantly be returning next year. The hosts were very easy to work with too. Thanks for sharing your awesome cabin!

This lake house was just what my family needed to relax and enjoy Big Bear!! It is directly on the lake with a spectacular view and private dock! The owners, Norman and Linda are just the sweetest who great you upon check-in with flowers and wine!! They are quick to respond to any questions and are happy to help with any recommendations for things to do. We will definitely be renting from them again in the future!

We enjoyed a very relaxing few days at this lakeside property. Location was perfect and the views from all the decks and the hot tub were unbeatable. The pool table got some good use and Linda and Norman were ever helpful and generous hosts.

Norman and Linda are the definition of polite and professional. They would very greatfull for our stay and very concerned with our satisfaction. The house met all our needs and more. Everything was clean and exactly what we expected! The only thing that posed a challenge was finding which light switch was for the lights...so many...lol

We love this property very clean with amazing views and very cozy. My two teens had a wonderful time playing in the pool table. The owners were magnificent they explained to us in great detail all the rules and how things work in the house witch it was a great help. Also, the owners were so wonderful they brought us some flowers and bottle of wine. That was very nice of them and they didn’t even know that we were celebrating out wedding anniversary so that made it even better. We had a wonderful time and definitely were coming back next year. Thank you so much Linda and Norman for sharing your house with us.

During these times or uncertainty we were looking for some normalcy and family time. The owners were so sweet and answered my questions. Great communication. The property was so beautiful I day dream about sitting on the deck. Amazing experience and I can't wait to go back!

My husband and I met our three daughters and their families for a two night stay at this rustic cabin on the lake. If you’re looking for undated design and luxury, this isn’t your place. If you’re looking for a clean, rustic home with amazing, panoramic views, THIS is where you’ll want to be. The view was so captivating we found it difficult to leave the cabin long enough to explore all that Big Bear has to offer. The only reason I gave this property four stars out of five was the sleeping situation. Although the cabin could potentially sleep 10-12, it only sleeps 8 comfortably. There are pull out sofa beds for additional guests but they’re marginal at best. Overall our stay was fantastic and the hosts were very welcoming and responsive. We would definitely stay here again!

Owners met us at the cabin within a couple hours of arrival with a bottle of wine and some flowers. They did their best to ensure we had what we needed. House was nice; a little dated, but comfortable. The view will knock your socks off morning, noon and night!! We were even granted a white Christmas!!! Over all ~ the family had a great holiday!

We had nine guys stay here for the weekend. Great location, amazing views from the deck, plenty of parking and were generally very happy with experience. The house along with furniture, appliances, etc are a bit aged but was no biggie. All in all a great experience and would do again.

This home was perfect for our family of 12 for 2 nights. Everyone had a blast and there was so much room to hang out. The kids loved being down by the water and we enjoyed the views from every room in the house. Norman and Linda were such amazing hosts. We can’t wait to visit again

My family stayed at the Lake View Property for a quick Spring Break trip. The property was very clean, nicely appointed and had great access to the lake. The owners are very friendly and were great to work with. I highly recommend this property for anyone looking for a nice, quite trip.

I’m not really the type of person to overstate or exaggerate things and I prefer exploring new places to stay for each trip rather than revisiting the same place when there are so many options available. With that said, my stay at this cabin was nothing short of amazing and I’d happily return again. The hosts were informative, responsive, and sweet just as everyone else pointed out in reviews. They make you feel welcome and right at home. Contrary to how it appears in certain pictures, all the houseware and furnitures were relatively new and in great condition. One thing that impressed me in particular was how clean and equipped the house was. The kitchen was fully stocked with plenty of plates and cooking utencils; the rooms were supplied with extra pillows and blankets. The heater worked a little too well during my stay on a cold, snowy weekend. The most impressive feature of this cabin was the lakeview. The cabin is elevated and situated in the most ideal location on the lake with no trees obstructing the lakeview unlike many other cabins. I had the fortune of waking up to the lakeview after a snowy night and it’s hard to put into words how beautiful the view was. The cabin could not be any more perfect for a getaway with significant other, family or friends at any time of the year.

We've stayed in many Big Bear homes & cabins over the years but nothing has come close to being able to get "this" view when you wake up or when you just want to sit and ponder the natural beauty. We loved the relaxing spa, the only sound we heard were the ducks & birds, it's just that peaceful! Thank you Linda & Norman for our "gifts" and for sharing your Lakefront home. Hopefully, we will be back!

I will start out by saying the view is spectacular. However, the cabin needs repairs and needs to be updated. The pool table is situated in such a way, it's nearly impossible to shoot pool. The owners bringing us a bottle of wine was a nice gesture but we thought it was a bit odd that they stopped in twice during our two day stay. I will give it 3 stars based on the view of the lake.

We stayed in Big Bear for years. This house is the best location on the entire lake. What a great place. Everything even better than advertised and the owners were as helpful and as friendly as you could possibly ask for. You can't go wrong with this place.
