- Every night the upstairs neighbours were playing music, screaming, dogs were barking. On the last night the entire property was shaking. It was difficult to get a good night's rest. If you plan on being up all night or can't hear, then it would be fine for you. - The bed was slightly too firm for me personally but for some it might be great - The window wouldn't open (it was nailed closed around the air con pipe), and my guest felt claustrophobic. With just the one window it felt a bit dark. It's not basement, the front door is ground level and the path near the window is raised which makes it look like you're lower - Host took ages to respond and gave automated messages, which made us panic as we had been stranded after an Amtrak strike and had nowhere to go, and then I had to ask Booking.com to get the host to give my deposit back as I asked for it back (two weeks after vacating property) and he ignored me for two weeks after that. I shouldn't have had to do that. - The cooker and the electrics seemed sketchy and in need of repair. Was afraid to use

Neatness of the apartment.

Cozy spot perfect for trysts. full private kitchen and bathroom. AC and air filter. clean, comfy bed and pillows. within walking distance are a great diner, liquor store, minimart, KFC, McDonald’s and a gas station. Very quiet neighborhood. i booked a Saturday night and it was peaceful. someone in the review said it was a “basement” apartment; and that’s not true; it’s ground level.

the manager is a tad bit disorganized in the way he runs his business. it’s obvious he manages multiple properties all by himself and it reflects in his service: slow to respond to texts, to the point where I thought I had gotten scammed at one point; but when I called him he was pretty cool. however; expect to be delayed by his process: you’ll be asked to text him copies of photo I.D.’s and credit card which he will charge immediately, then about an hour later he sent me a digital document to sign and screenshot to text as well. then you’ll be given the access codes for the door locks. Don’t expect prompt service.

The property was nice and clean and it was very nice. Everything was nice.

The only thing I didn’t like is that I didn’t get my deposit back and I left everything clean and neat as I found it and also read his rules that he had texted me and still didn’t get it back. I tried contacting him for my deposit but to no avail he never responded back. Don’t get fooled guys you can get a motel for a lesser price or even a nice hotel for that matter.

The location was okay.

It was smaller than how it looked in the pictures. It just was not a comfortable space at all. The owner or host was very rude. He caught an attitude after I asked him to send me a confirmation and check in details about 5 times. I kept having to call him to send me information that should’ve been automatic. I wouldn’t recommend this space at all.
