? Parking et proche chantilly, c'est tout !

Indigne ! Pas de chauffage ! Pas d'internet ! Pas de TV ! Dès l'arrivée, les choses ne se sont pas passées normalement : le SMS du propriétaire donnant les indications pour récupérer les clés est arrivé à 18 h seulement. Puis personne pour répondre au téléphone, c'est un voisin qui nous a informé de l'emplacement de la boîte à clés. En entrant dans l'appartement, on est étonné par la forte odeur d'humidité. Les radiateurs ne s'allument pas. Il y a des codes pour accéder à l'internet mais il n'y a pas de réseau correspondant. Il n'y a pas de box internet. A la cuisine, pas de torchon, on a dû ranger la vaisselle mouillée dans le placard. Il y a 2 petites cuillères en tout et pour tout ! Pendant la nuit, il y a un bruit permanent et fort de ventilation. Il fait froid. Pas de détecteur de fumée. Nous essayons de contacter le propriétaire pour lui demander de l'aide mais aucune réponse. Sur Chantilly ce weekend, il n'est pas simple de trouver un autre hébergement d'autant plus que ce logement indigne a été payé entièrement via Booking. Je ne comprends pas qu'un tel logement soit encore proposé à la location sur cette plateforme.

La propreté laisse à désirer… Nous réservons un logement pour 4 et en arrivant il n’y a que 2 serviettes de bain et les draps de lit pour 2 personnes … le clic clac est bien présent mais seuls des draps utilisés et donc non propres sont à disposition… L’isolation n’est pas au top (bruits de chaussée, chasse des voisins…)

The location

There were no exterior lights for night entry. It lacked so many basics, such as towels, paper towels, soap, tea cups.

Upon arrival in Vineuil-Saint-Firmin it was quite clear that it would be very difficult to find the apartment. Unfortunately I only noticed the photo's sent by our host after we got back from our holiday in France. It was quite a puzzle to locate the key box, but once we found it no more troubles were encountered. The apartment was OK and suited our purposes nicely. The bed was OK and we had a good night's rest in the apartment. Although the location was a bit shady, we really enjoyed our stay in the apartment. Parking space was more than adequate and the place was very quiet.

The place could have been a bit more cleaner. It was not dirty or anything, just a bit... well, French. But what do you expect when you travel to France? Funnily enough I had the best sleep ever since we were on our holiday. Or was that because of the wine?

Excellent communication including a photo to help locate the key box. The property was clean and comfortable... The location was excellent only a five minute walk to the Chantilly Chateau... Amazing...

As it is a self catering apartment, there was a lack of baking trays. And only two towels for a family of four, which were damp? as though there had been a quick change over and the towels were not dried properly. I do hope that they had been changed!!!!
