It was a lovely property and beautiful cottage. A relaxing place to stay. It was only two minutes from Berry but it felt like you were miles out of town. It was also only a 10km trip to Shoalhaven Heads beach via a pretty, quiet country road. The host, Janette, was very welcoming; kind and friendly but not intrusive. I really appreciated that I could have my dogs with me and Janette was very understanding of their curiosity of her property. Will definitely be back again and happy to recommend to others.

The property was very clean and we enjoyed except for the stove. We couldn’t cook on it as the circuit breaker kept tripping (3 times) and electricity would go off on all appliances in the kitchen.
It really needs replacing. On both nights we didn’t want to go out and we used the hot plate to finish our cooking.
Everything else was perfect just that little annoying thing.
I thank the owner very much for making such a beautiful property available. My dog Archie settled in very quickly and was fascinated by Stanley. Thank you

You’ll have to make your own wi fi arrangements.
Delightful pen for your animal/s, if required.
Kitchen was over supplied with stuff in cupboards, leaving not enough room for one’s own supplies, etc.
The stove is dated and barely adequate.
Aside from this, our stay was comfortable and relaxing in a most beautiful verdant environment.

Perfect getaway within 5 minutes drive to Berry. Communication with the host was first class, the property was spotless and well equiped with large bedroom and modern bathroom.
We took our two greyhounds with us and they had no problem settling in.
Highly recommended.

Property was clean and close to Berry. Our pets were allowed in the house which made it a carefree holiday. It was easy to use this as a base while visiting nearby towns

We loved our little getaway at Hillcrest Cottage in Berry. Janette was friendly , welcoming and nothing was a problem .The property was well maintained and our pooch loved the freedom of the property to run free. The property had all the comforts of home and was very relaxing. Thankyou Janette for being an amazing host .We would definitely recommend this property and would also come back and stay .Deb and Vic

We've stayed in various places around Berry, but Hillcrest Cottage is definitely the best. It's in a scenic area, close to Berry but very quiet. The cottage is clean and comfortable and our stay was very pleasant and relaxing.
Janette, the owner, is very friendly and obliging and obviously keen to ensure that guests enjoy their stay.
Being dog friendly is a bonus and our dog appreciated being able to explore all the interesting things on the property.
Definitely recommended if you're looking for a place to stay in Berry.

Loved this place, charming, quiet and rural. All the qualities we wanted. At night the possums came round as did a few wild rabbits. Added to the experience .

A delightful property, close to drive to Berry. Well resourced with facilities and nicieties such as Chocolate biscuits, Coffee, Lite Milk, bottled water. Large Bedroom.

It was all very easy and cozy. We just enjoyed being somewhere quiet with the nature and countryside. Very relaxing and the dogs 🐶 🐕 had a lovely time sniffing and wondering around. Janette is very friendly and obliging, we enjoyed our time there 😊

We so enjoyed our stay at Hillcrest Cottage, Berry. Janette is a generous hostess, very approachable, friendly and welcoming. The accommodation was so comfortable and clean, just 2 minutes from the main street of Berry yet set beautifully in the Berry countryside. Delighted to be in peaceful green space and experience the nature around us – the birdlife, kangaroos, lyre-birds, wombats to name a few. This is the perfect base-point to venture to other nearby townships – Kangaroo Valley, Robertson, Kiama and Gerringong all quite close by. We were delighted with our stay.

My husband, young son, dog and I had such a lovely stay at Janette's cottage. A beautiful location, comfortable and clean accommodation and Janette was very welcoming. We had a great time on the tennis court, meeting the goats, walking the neighbourhood and just relaxing on the property.

We had 3 excellent nights stay with our bc/kelpie - set on 5 acres there was plenty of room for him to run around and our accommodation had everything we needed. Our hosts were very accommodating and friendly. Highly recommend.

If you are considering a stay a little way out of Berry (2-minute drive) the cottage is in a perfect location, nicely styled and comfortable for a relaxing getaway.
