Absolutely lovely spot that was so clean and had wonderful amenities. The pool area was great especially for a young kid. Would highly recommended. Was so easy and relaxing from beginning to end.

I can’t say enough about how fantastic this property is. Close enough to attractions but tucked away. Went on a girls weekend with a group of ladies ranging from ages 50-75. The living quarters are beautiful, plenty of living, dining and sleeping quarters. The views are amazing, wrap around porch, views of the water, just peaceful. John was a wonderful host, he was kind enough to help us all with our luggage, he was such a gentleman. The home was well stocked, and very clean. We enjoyed it so much we are headed back next year! This house or host won’t disappoint

This VRBO was perfect for 12 girls for my sister's bachelorette. Plenty of space for everyone to sleep and hang out together. Everyone really enjoyed the hot tub. John was very communicative when we needed something. The whole property is beautiful!

The place was beautiful, welcoming and relaxing. My family and I will definitely be coming back. Want to do something in the warmer days. The 5/5 from everyone is no lie and not exaggerated. Book your stay right away!! :)

Everything about this property was amazing! The host was extremely friendly and communicative. The property was stunning. The accommodations, including the hot tub and the playgrounds and getting to see the chickens on the property. We’re all such family fun, friendly activities we hope to be able to come back during the summer!

John’s guest house is immaculate. Meticulously cleaned, beautiful views, comfortable beds, stocked with everything you need for a perfect getaway. Added bonus is that John is a fantastic person who makes everything easy for guests.

The property was exactly as listed, fantastic both inside and out. The property was clean and well furnished. Being a 7 minute drive to the wedding venue was just an added bonus.

We had a great vacation at this home. It was clean and stocked with everything you could possibly need. John was very responsive and helpful. The pool, hot tub, boat dock, and kayaks gave us plenty of fun summer things to do! We highly recommend it!!

Arrived on a Friday to relax and enjoy all the amenities before my daughter's wedding on Sunday at a nearby country club. The house exceeded all expectations! Would highly recommend it.

Our family enjoyed the spacious, waterfront accommodations while we were in town for a wedding. We were grateful to be together in a home vs. hotel rooms. The home and pool were very comfortable and well appointed.

My husband and I stayed here with our bridal/groom party during the week of our wedding. Our wedding was on Kent Island (~5 min drive away) on a Friday and this was the perfect place to stay to have some fun and relax in the days leading up to and for the weekend after the wedding. John was an excellent and accommodating host. He was great at communicating with us beforehand (we booked about 9 months in advance), as the date drew closer, and then during wedding week. He made sure we had all of our questions answered and had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. He encouraged us to take advantage of the property to have fun and also on the day-of (we came back to the house for a few photos after our ceremony and before our reception). The guest house was spotless when we arrived, spacious, and comfortable. We loved having access to a large outdoor space with various activities as options (lawn games, swimming, grill out, listen to music, kayak, paddleboard, fishing). It made for an amazing week.

The property was great. Very comfortable and clean. Lots to do and the grounds were very well kept. Great for small kids as well.

You won’t be disappointed – the property is in an excellent state of repair and has everything you could possibly need. The hot tub and pool were greatly enjoyed by all. Loads of glasses, cups, plates, bowls etc and every utensil you could think of. John was quick to respond to questions leading up to our arrival and was keen to ensure we were having a good time and making sure everything was OK. We had such a wonderful stay here. Such a serene, beautiful setting. Loved feeling away from it all, but close enough to go do things. The owner was so friendly and went above and beyond for us! I could have stayed here forever.

As a group of 6 adults and 4 children there wasn’t a lack of things to do. From hanging out on the balcony to swimming in the pool to fishing to kayaking to bonfires, our extended family had a blast! We enjoyed this home so much last summer that we stayed here again this summer! It is spotless, spacious, serene, and well-stocked. The pool is huge, and the views are amazing. We really enjoyed our stay at John's VRBO. It has a beautiful pool, hot tub, great grilling area and playground for little kids and is on a nice lake. If you have people that are light sleepers or cant sleep in an area that gets light really early be sure they do not sleep in the Loft area. However, the beds were all great and the house was wonderful. There is a stairway to get up into the house. Also the upstairs bathroom is just a normal sink, toilet and tub/shower combined. The master bedroom downstairs has a large bathroom, with nice large shower and a tub. Then there is a power room on the main level that has 2 sinks and a separate toilet which worked well for getting everyone ready. Again loved our stay and hope to return again.
