Only praise, no complaints for the property.
Master suite is very spacious

Property strikes the balance of being both beautiful and comfortable. Classy but also relaxing.
The ONLY thing that I could critique is that it would have been nice if the property manager gave us a heads up that a plumber was showing up.

Our trip with our entire immediate family of 10 people to celebrate our 50th anniversary was fabulous and the place was wonderful. The house was beautiful, spacious, and well equipped. Including boogie boards,wet suits, surf boards, bikes, ping pong table, and bikes. We made a lot of memories during our stay and will definitely consider coming back.

A lovely house that fitted the bill perfectly for our group, which included three generations ranging from age 3 to seventy something. The only thing we would have changed was to upgrade from the ultrathin one ply toilet paper to something a bit more in keeping with the generally high standard of the house.

We had an amazing time in this beautiful home. It had all the amenities we needed, great location to the beach, and spacious living areas. Would definitely recommend this house and stay again. My only suggestions is to have a propane BBQ grill since a charcoal one is not as easy to cook on.

We had a great time. If you have a larger group, and many couples, the bedrooms are perfect, essentially everyone has their own bathroom. The house is fully stocked, even the garage is full of beach toys and outdoor activities. House is HUGE and you cant beat the location, just a walk to the beach and to the marina. We had a great time and would stay here again.

House was beautiful and we had a great time! Loved the master and the steam shower. The only complaint we have is that the property manager sent us a contract to sign via text message instead of through VRBO. We thought the text was a scam. We almost lost the rental. They really need to communicate with you via VRBO and let you know to expect the text.

We enjoyed our stay here. Plenty of room, very clean and modern. Price was reasonable. Right across the street from the beach. Only downside was there is no A/C, but it's really not an issue since the ocean breeze is always strong and cool. Just need to open all the windows as soon as you arrive if you've been gone all day. We would definitely stay here again!

The house was fabulous, steps away from the oceans sand. My grandchild was invited to the X-games, BMX bikes in Ventura at the fairgrounds. We were somewhat hesitant being in Oxnard having to go to Ventura, especially on the weekend, but the travel time was easy. Wonderful quiet beach with beautiful white sand. The house beautifully decorated, great art work, many bathrooms & the feeling of being at home. Communication was excellent. We will return.

This is the second year we've stayed at The Pearl for a family reunion, and it's become our favorite spot! Clean and bright rooms, lots of space to hang out together, and the primary suite is beyond compare. The view from the roof is awesome!

We loved the house and everything was very accommodating. It fit our family perfectly and was very comfortable. My only wishes are screens on the windows, larger pots and pans, window coverings in the owners suite bathroom and a broom, dust pan and vacuum to keep up the floors for the week. Other than that we loved it and would most defitely stay again and recommend. Thank you!

This property made our plan to relax and enjoy the beach culture so enjoyable. Great house for hosting friends while players by in the sand and playing board games. The host has set up the home with the right amenities. Look forward to coming back in the near future.

Three generations of our family enjoyed our week right by Hollywood Beach in Oxnard, in this beautiful home. When our 6-year old granddaughter first explored the house, she announced "this is the most beautiful house I've ever seen". I would not go that far, but I will say the house has an excellent traffic pattern and is very comfortable. And the location, a two minute walk to the beach and a five minute walk to restaurants was ideal for our family.

House is large and nice.Condition is good, not great - some mold in the showers, etc. The linens and towels are Macy's quality.The dishwasher "works" in that it puts soap and water on the items in it, but doesn't "work" in that those items are not cleaned. This is increasingly annoying when the check out instructions threaten fees if the dishes are not washed and put away and the beds are not stripped, towels started in the washing machine, etc. This is a $1500+/night house. I don't want or expect to be my own cleaning service. Especially when I'm also charged a cleaning fee as a part of the booking.

It was a lovely property and very spacious. Kitchen was pretty well stocked but could use some additional serving dishes/trays and cook wear. Lots of everyday dishes was appreciated and the refrigerator in the garage was a real bonus, especially with the BBQ there.
Dryer was not working properly but an appliance repair man was coming to fix the day we left. Sure hope that happened before the new guests arrival.
Sink in ensuite downstairs did not drain, needs attention. Loved the big windows and had great air circulation so no a/c was not an issue. That said, should have screens for safety reasons, with children occupying the home. Some soft seating on rooftop deck and maybe an umbrella would be nice up there too.
No dish cloths in the kitchen.
Lots of towels were available, including beach towels, much appreciated! Beach toys, bikes, ping pong table, Boogie boards, etc again, much appreciated! We left a number of things to help out the next guests, paper plates, solo cups, briquets, matches. Might want to mention there is a pack n play in closet downstairs... Helpful for future guests with small children/infants.
Our family had a wonderful time and it was a very memorable week in this beautiful home.
