Lighting and the roller blind needs to black out the full windows as the daylight was peaking through early morning and could go back to sleep, although the interior of the windows was beautiful just not practical for summer period..

Everything: the rooms were clean, comfortable and excellent value for money. The decor was gorgeous and gave a really decadent feel to our stay. We had a bath in our bedroom, which we didn't use but made the room look very glamorous. There was also a separate bathroom with a shower that we did use! This was really well equipped with everything you could need. The view over the river was beautiful and there was very little noise from the street and the bar below us. The staff were all super friendly and helpful and the location was central to Bedford town. We will definitely use Albero Rooms again.

The parking was a 5 minute walk away: not the fault of the business, but worth noting.

The location was great, just through the town by the river. The rooms were lovely, decor was quirky. Lovely spacious bathroom with a bath in the bedroom. Staff very friendly and helpful.

No window to open in room 5 and the air con wasn’t great but still had a good nights sleep.

Room was beautiful & clean with views along the river. Bathroom was amazing & the bath was huge! Staff were really friendly and helpful. Loved the decor overall. Food was superb. Would definitely stay here again.

Only improvement for me would be the addition of a mirror that lights up. It was a bit difficult getting ready in the evening with the existing lighting.

Stayed here several times and it’s quite comfortable with big beds and nice bathrooms - but not sure I’ll stay again for reasons explained below

I’ve stayed several times and coming back after a few months, I turned up for breakfast at 8am to be told it’s now not until 9am (not great when needing to get to work and the website says 8am). Went back at 9 and then was told it’s no longer included as part of the stay! No one showed me to my room and explained either of these things - it was always a good breakfast and part of the reason to stay! There used to be an info sheet in the room and that wasn’t there - so had to discover this change on my own. 3 of the 5 lights in the room weren’t working. The staff member was so casual about the changes, after leaving me standing waiting for 5 minutes while the staff chatted around the coffee machine, it made it even more frustrating.

Right on the river in a beautiful old school building. Gorgeous room number 5 with the biggest bath in it plus the best walk in shower in the bathroom. Great white cotton bedding. Lovely walk up the river in the morning to watch the rowers and geese. Good breakfast and very pleasant staff.

Skylight instead of a window was a little strange.

This place is just amazing. From checking in to our room with lovely polite, helpful staff, to a cosy sit down drink in a beautiful welcoming lounge. I need to talk about the rooms. The room was just the best, beautifully decorated, spotlessly clean with a wonderful view over the river. The bathroom was huge, with a beautiful roll top bath, walk in shower, 2 sinks, 2 mirrors and anything else you could possibly want. We will definitely be saying here again. Thank you to everyone at Albero lounge for an amazing stay.

Very charming place. Rooms are large and comfortable. Very well located by the river and nice restaurant.

Wifi connection was very poor in my room (may depend on the rooms though). Also, breakfast starts at 9am which a bit late if you have meetings in the morning...

Ive been lucky enough to stay here a few times and cannot recommend it enough. Great venue , friendly staff , fab food. Looking forward to my next stay already

I had an early start so couldn't get breakfast (the food the evening before was awesome!)

Couple of little details. No batteries in TV remote. Was late so didn't bother the staff and there were no bulbs in the reading lights. Again, late when I found out. Breakfast wasn't until 9 which is too late for most business travelers I would think

The room that i had was nr 3 with lovely view of the river and bath inside the room. VERY HELPFUL bar staff welcomed me in very friendly and chilled way which I really like it. Even that furniture and and design looks very old fashioned the quality the room was CLEAN to standard of a 5 STAR HOTEL tel. Water and refreshment was waiting for us which was very nice for that small price of accommodation. I loved also the size of bathroom which was very spacious and fact that breakfast was included, about I totally forgot but menager and bar crew inform me about.

Only one small thing that I can complain was the sound when you open the tap from bathroom but i guees maybe it was just too keep us feel like in victorian era.
