Extremely friendly staff; clean and spacious room; smooth checking in and checking out experience; unique and well maintained property

Location was a bit inconvenient, but the bus pass given by the hotel was very helpful

location between the fields near a little lake. room size is very good and we like the decoration. the terrace is very big with stunning view of the surrounding mountains. staff is so friendly.

the bathroom has a bathtub but it is not convenient at all to have shower. In summer, when the weather gets warm there is no air condition or fan so it is hard to sleep, also it is not possible to keep the windows open because flies and bees can get inside. They must find a solution for this. we visited the area late May and we struggled to have good sleep. There is no iron even if you ask for it. pillows are not comfortable at all.

Small, nice, and cozy hotel in a nice and quiet area. Excellent food and very friendly staff.

Some of the furniture is too filmsy. They are unsteady too. Old style wooden furniture would have been a better fit.

The staff were incredibly friendly and warm. When we would return from our day, they made us feel like friends returning.

it was cute, clean, easy to get around to sightsee from and everyone was do friendly and helpful. the breakfast was great too.

it’s a beautiful property and the food was excellent. the only thing I’d caution for fellow Americans who are used to lots of privacy, the room doesn’t have a door between bathroom and bedroom. fine for a couple but could be awkward otherwise.

Rooms are very nice and the restaurant is excellent (I would recommend dining there even if you stay somewhere else). Good value on those points vs. trade off that the hotel is located outside of town.

As noted above, the hotel is located outside of town, However, they have free parking if you have a car and, if not, they are located on the free bus line that runs twice per hour (bus stop is about 250 meters up the road). So, great place at reasonable price, but you need to factor in some walking and extra 30 minutes travel planning going to train station or other sights in Interlaken.

Cute little hotel with excellent value for money

There were at least two housekeepers, one excellent and one less so. As a result, the room was cleaned orderly for one day and untidily for the remaining days.

a bit too soft bed for me

The staff was hospitable, the restaurant was excellent and the rooms were large and comfortable.

The shower was extremely unsatisfactory. There was rusty remnant where the original fixture was ripped out. The tiny space of the shower itself made it too easy to hit the handle controlling heat and flow intensity and allowed the shower curtain to cling to the body when washing. The shower head was also not well attached to the wall, if the flow intensity was too strong the shower head would wildly spray like an unattended fire hose.

The hotel is located is a beautiful small town near interlaken (only 25 minutes walk from the main station). It has a free parking and u get a free bus ticket for your stay. The hotel design is beautiful and unique and the views are spectacular! Our room was beautiful and bed was very comfortable that is was hard getting up in the morning. The staff are kind and helpful and breakfast was good. The restaurant is great we ate there twice and enjoyed it ! (The meat meal was a bit small) but from what we ate we were full and satisfied 😌

Our bathroom was a bit small but is always had hot water. We wish to have a water pot in the room for making tea but the coffee machine was enough.

it is enough that every time I enter and exit the hotel, they greet me with a smile, i am happy to be in this hotel every thing has been perfect the bed was very comfortable i like it breakfast perfect they deserve 5 stars clean perfect thanks you burgssli hotel ❤️
