Cute hotel with the most amazing staff! Like a little oasis from the town. Great hammock nooks and little places to relax. The rooms are very clean and simple, nothing too fancy but cozy and safe. Our Spanish skills aren't amazing, but the staff did an amazing job to go above and beyond to help us out! Also the breakfast was made to order.. fresh and tasty! We will definitely stay again the next time we're in the area.
There is no AC, but not really a problem - it's not that hot and the fans and windows keep the room cool. The TV is old, but we didn't use it anyways... you're on vacation in a new town.. who needs TV?! Really nothing to complain about.. it was great!

I picked this hotel at random with a Google search from my phone when I have arrived after midnight at the airport and my girlfriend blocked me from seeing her. The room was cheap about $23 and one of the closer ones to the airport about six miles. The neighborhood was a little scary at night and the property appeared closed when I first arrived but all I had to do was press the buzzer and a very nice and polite gentleman check me in. The breakfast was homemade and excellent, no choices but standard Colombian fare, eggs, arepas with cheese, fresh-squeezed juice, always good Colombian coffee, some fresh mangoes. Portions were larger-than-average and service was personalized. This is an older property but everything worked, the TV, hot water, the lights, the overhead fan. The architecture is very unique - old Spanish mission style with an open courtyard in the middle. Ask for room 4 with the large windows that overlook the courtyard.
Really I liked everything, I was trying to make my way to Cali and this hotel was about 6 miles in the opposite direction toward Palmira, but I found a bus that goes to Cali for less than $3 so that is my plan. The neighborhood is a little dicey but the hotel is very safe. You can hear voices in the other room if that kind of stuff bothers you.
