This is a truly sublime and relaxing place. The hotel and grounds are peaceful and charming. The quirky tasteful touches are spot on and make every corner of this place full of discoveries. Eva is a really down to earth host and makes you feel at ease from the moment you arrive. The bed was really comfy and I enjoyed being able to grab a tea whenever I liked. The views are phenomenal and I really appreciated that there's trekking trails straight from the door. The gorges nearby were lovely. Lastly, the food really bowled me over. A gastronic delight. I'm hoping to go back sooner than later.

I barley write reviews, but this place deserves it more than any other places, we've been so far. My Lady and me stayed at El Mir over the last weekend. From the beginning to the end, this trip was pure magic. The house, the property, the landscape, the rooms, the food and especially our host Eva deserves 12/10 points. If you see the pictures here at booking, you might think the photos are photo-shopped or something, but believe me, it looks even more beautiful, if you see it with your own eyes. Incredible. What she created at this place is outstanding. She has incredible good taste and the eye for perfection. Also, she is a amazing Chef (she only uses fresh, local and high-qualitative products) and the most lovely person you can imagine. If I am honest, I would like to keep this place as our "secret", but Eva really deserves the recognition for what she has created. I could go on, writing for hours, how much we loved it, but I would say: convince yourself! And a last note for you Eva: Thank you again so so much for having us. You just smashed our expectations. We are already planning our next weekend at your place and we are sure, that we will see us again quite soon! :) With much love Laura&Ben
