The food service team was fantastic in all areas breakfast was amazing and dinner was top notch great selection of wines and attentive service all throughout the stay. Having a drink on the porch over looking sea was fantastic. Great romantic spot. Bike usage was really convenient a short 10 min ride to the busier town area with lots of choices for restaurants etc but the resort has all you need and just a simple walk to beautiful Roman ruins.

The views are excellent.

Staff were very nice. When we ate in the hotel the food was excellent.

The managers attitude was not pleasant. We had no wardrobes in our room and his answer was that we should leave our clothes in our suitcase. We were attending a wedding with suits and long dresses etc and were stating for 5 nights and the accommodation was not good enough.

On the whole the quality of service was very poor and at times very unfriendly Most mornings only 2 staff at breakfast doing everything they literally had to run (no where near enough) and yet 4 staff on reception doing very little at breakfast time so why didn't they help. The hotel is not cheap and yet we had to pay extra for kids club, bike hire and car parking this was surprising

The position of the hotel was amazing amd it was in a very quiet location. The hotel was light and airy, very clean with good furnishings and excellent bed linen.

The safe in our room was not secured so anyone could lift it out of the cupboard. When we reported this we were told that no-one would steal it! Eventually the maintenance man kindly secured ours for us. Parking fees for the hotel were 8€ a day. There was a free car park next door!

The hotel is very attractive, it is wonderfully situated right on the sea front. There is a good restaurant and bar and comfortable seating areas . There are beach towels available on request. The breakfasts were very good too. We chose the hotel because it is next to the amazing archaeological sit or the ruines of Empuies.

We had a sea view room which was lovely but the bathroom was difficult to use and very cramped. The bathroom needed to be updated. I also thought having the fridge for the mini bar in a cupboard wasnt very ecological. The cupboard got really hot so the fridge must have been working overtime and we didnt really need to use it.

The location was absolutely beautiful! I had a massage and that was wonderful as well. The views were breathtaking. Lovely place to be!

I should not promote such lovely place if being selfish... To compare with Le Meridien Monaco, which was my most favorite hotel, this location beats all! You have the feeling being on Hawai with the view, the lay back atmosphere, the excellent service, the lovely staff... WOW! Loved all

The restaurant but, with so many good restaurants to the left and right within 10 minute walk... it was a minor. The bar was brilliant 👏

This is a lovely hotel with a great ambiance and friendly helpful staff in a great location overlooking the sea. It has a small (public) beach immediately in front of the hotel. It is located away from the hub-bub of central l'Escala very close the the site of the Phoenician/Roman settlement. The Terrace is very comfortable and is a great vantage point to watch the world go by.

This is a top 4* hotel, so one expects to pay premium prices. However I felt that charging for the use of the pool and the cost of breakfast (the same as a 3 course meal with wine in nearby establishments) were a little excessive. Whilst the staff were very friendly and keen to please, service was slow at times and often I had to go to the counter to get service on the terrace. I would also have expected coffee-making facilities in the room and room service, neither of which were available. Nevertheless I do not want to paint too negative a picture, I would book again and recommend to others (in an informative way) as the upsides definitely outweigh the downsides.
