They were obviously short of staff and although it’s not a long walk to parking it’s down quite a steep hill and not y with luggage.

lovely bath and toiletries. excellent fluffy robes. convenient 5 min walk to jubilee pool.

Good location in Penzance. Trendy shabby chic interiors.

Awoken several times over both nights of our stay. First night dog barking in another room and noisily taken by owners outdoors. Second night, load noises from other rooms. Sound proofing between rooms very poor. Adding to that, very loud outflow plumbing pipe down the inside wall beside the bed head in our room 12, was annoying and also awoke us in the early hours. The very least to expect at a hotel is uninterrupted sleep and at the high prices at the Artist Resident Penzance we were not afforded this. Cannot recommend staying here.

The room was thoughtfully put together, with amazing an bathroom and grand bathtub. It was stylish luxury in a small space, which was very impressive.

breakfast should be definitely be included for this price! This is what lets the hotel down big time.

amazing staff and the food at the restaurant was amazing. great location very laid back vibe. we had a top floor suite though which makes a difference as I’ve read bad reviews from ground floor rooms. we really liked the staff and overall vibe.

All aspects of the stay were outstanding. We will be back.

hard to get luggage up stairs

The room was very nice.

The service could do with a lot of improvement. It is the most impersonal hotel I have ever stayed in. I stayed for five days and not once did a single person ask how the stay was. Especially being a solo traveller I found it incredibly odd. I did not know who the manager was. I wasn’t properly checked in and didn’t even know there was a restaurant behind a curtain until the third day - no one bothered to tell me. Room service forgot water 3/5 days. I would never recommended this hotel and cold is an understatement.
