Great location very helpful staff

Staff were friendly and attentive. Hotel was clean and beds were comfortable. The lunch and dinner were great. The hotel is very well located, very near to the bars, beaches and port.

Location was great - in the center of Rhodes town. The staff - everyone - was super helpful and friendly. The restaurant chef even met us at every meal to advise about gluten free options in the meal. The restaurant manager kept offering new ways to accommodate us. The front desk staff were great, the bellboy, the barman - really - everyone. They really did everything to make our stay pleasant. We got upgraded to a better room - and also got upgraded to full board - which really served us well this time around. All this contributed to the perfect holiday for us.

Mitsis is an organized and very comfortable place, and if you want to experience a stay that is within the international tourist hotel but also the "full of Greekness" palace this is the perfect place! In the evening they organize parties, traditional dances or disco bars and there is always a lot of vitality and things to do. The place is also equipped for photo booth for shootings and has an international library where you can find excellent readings in all languages. Here we have found a very dedicated staff: the very sweet Lou, the sweet, funny and always present porter at reception and the absolutely unforgettable Konstantinos V., the boy who made us feel like family and made us discovered the best places here in Rhodes! They speak a perfect English and make you feel safe and cuddled.

Of all the years I have travelled to Rhodes, I have never come across such rude arrogant wait staff in the dining room. The room at Mitsis Petit Palais with the emphasis on ‘Petit’ was barely big enough to swing a cat in! Thankfully I was on my own, but still had to clamber over my luggage to get into bed! Cleaning of the room was really slack too…crisp crumbs remained on the floor for the duration of my trip.

Best crew ever at reception, very nice for both of the kids. The restaurant entry people were always helpful and nice. Food was really good especially the Pizza's. Large rooms and good cleaning. Environment is perfect, many beaches, city center and old town only 15 min walking.

Pool is smaller then expected, but the pool was not the main reason for our stay. ;-)

Very good location, close to the beach just 2 minutes walking. Close to Rhodos old town and plenty of restaurants and shops nearby. Different parties and enterteinment every night.

Breakfast was the same everyday. Some staff were unfriendly. No car parking and hotel is located in a busy road which can be difficult to park the car. To much noise in the hotel corridor.

It's centrally located,the rooms are comfortable,good AC,WiFi & well stocked mini bar.Very comfortable bed,the food was excellent & the service was very good

It's quiet noisy..there was building work going on opposite our room.The pool is way too small for a hotel of that size as is the main bar.You have to stand in the middle of the "entertainment "act to queue for the bar.The pool.bar was serving beer in paper coffee cups,would have been better in a plastic glass

The location can not be better!!! We could walk to the city, old city, beach and the port. Fantastic location!!! The staff were very kind and helpful. Breakfast was generous. Every evening there was something special at the bar of the hotel (karaoke, ladino dance, singers and more).

The hotel was very good. The reception and restaurant staff were excellent. Very friendly and helpful. Always very accommodating. Very good selection of meals in the restaurant buffet. Excellent WiFi coverage throughout the hotel. Excellent location in Rhodes town. In a short walking distance to the beach, restaurants/bars Old Town and harbour for boat tours.

The food could have been hotter in the restaurant buffet. It was at times quite cool. I do appreciate that this is sometimes the nature of a buffet, but even still, it could have been better. The daily cleaning of the rooms needs improvement. I do not believe that our rooms floor was swept on any of the seven days of our stay. Our mini bar fridge was only restocked once with water and soft drinks during our 7 day stay. It was my understanding that it would be restocked every 2 days as part of our "All Inclusive" booking. I may have misunderstood. The bar could be bigger as it was quite small for the number of guests in the hotel.

There was nothing not to like

The breakfast was good and the staff was helpful. The central location was both good and bad - there is a short walk to most places of interest.

The hotel room sound proofing was honestly quite terrible. You can hear everything from the hallway, too much from neighbouring rooms, bathroom sounds from upstairs and traffic & party noise from outside. Earplugs are an absolute must to be able to sleep here! I think I have not been to many hotels where the hallway flooring is not made of carpet, which would dramatically reduce noise. Here, the hallway as well as the rooms had tile flooring. The downside of the central location is constant noise outside. The water in the shower was not always warm in "peak shower hours". The balcony door was difficult to close once you opened it. Every time you enter the room and place the key on the holder the tv starts to play the Mitsis video theme loudly - annoying. The room had old gadgets such as a landline phone and a radio of some sort I guess which did not work - had to call the reception from own mobile.
