Great pool area to relax and have a few drinks. The food was delicious and very reasonably priced too. The staff were friendly and made you feel very welcome. Great stay. Thanks

The room was different than the pictures of the selected room on Booking.com. The room was a bit dirty, and the bathroom was not up to standard for the price. If the price was lower, the overall condition of the room would be more acceptable. The staff reminded us of uninterested teenagers, doing the bare minimum, almost annoyed to be interrupted from youtube or smoking. Not very welcoming.

The resort has the potential to be great. It's just simply 'run down' There's not any beautiful thatching on the foofing. All that is left is corrugated sheeting. The beds are really comfortable, but the room is in need of a full refurbishment. The bathroom is awful, but you get used to it, just grubby. Squashes mozzies on the walls and tops off toiletries left around the sink. It has a beautiful setting and that is how they can command the price. Otherwise, its a 1000bht room. The time of the covid crisis could have been a opportunity to dress up the rooms, shame they didn't. It's a jungle setting, so expect the mozzie attack. Some rooms didn't have nets, ours did and worked fine. We did enjoy our stay, but we expected a little bit more, something that reassemble the photos. Won't return, for the price we paid. All the staff were ok but the guy on reception was a moody xxxx. There's a nice caged bird who chats and whistles away. The poor things cage has never been cleaned out with 2 mountains of built up bird poo. Get a grip management

it was dirty, had bed bugs, clogged drains, and the water was not hot.

Fisherman lays in a special location right on the beach in a rather quiet area of Ko Tao. The facilites are smartly organized, well clean and generally speaking everything was very much in order, well worth staying at! The swimming pool is a 10/10.

There is not much pool/beachfront space available, so if that’s all you need for your holiday maybe have a look at other options.

Absolutely recommending Fisherman Koh Tao!! The staff was really nice and helpful, the food was one of the best we got in Thailand so far, every dish was a joy :) cocktails amazing too! The pool + bar is very nicely located at the beach and very enjoyable! The Bungalows had a really good size, have everything you need and very clean! Also the whole Location is beautifully arranged with a lot of flowers, plants, trees, etc. Feels a lot like paradise there! 10/10 would come again :)

We liked the location of the hotel and the the pool and pool bar were really nice. The food in the restaurant was reasonably good and was well priced, the chicken cashew was a favourite for us.

The receptionist was very rude each time we spoke to him, and the information in the room was incorrect, saying there was a free shuttle to the port 4 times a day when there was in fact not. There were local families living in the rooms next door which made it feel a little uncomfortable when walking past.

Great little resort with friendly staff and owners...For once the food at the restaurant was good enough for us not to have to look for food elsewhere. We had a pleasant stay away from the crowds on Sairee Beach.

Not a great beach and it's very quiet on that side of the island so few shops open. Our biggest complaint was not the resorts fault...Selfish guests with children behaved as if it was their private space. Spoilt brats can ruin other guests peace and quiet.

Great location with stunning views of Chalok bay, away from the hustle and bustle of Sairee. Staff are absolutely amazing, warm and welcoming.

Unfortunately the water in the pool was so cloudy that it was impossible to see the bottom tiles - must have been a cleaning/maintenance issue. The accommodation is lovely but super basic and doesn’t really justify its price point compared to other resorts on the island.

As almost all accommodation in Thailand Fisherman is clearly recovering from the COVID crisis but they are doing an amazing job. The gardens are idyllic, the views spectacular but most of all it’s the staff that made our stay something we will never forget. Their warmth and hospitality are truly unmatched!!

Very strong mold smell in the rooms. Didn't finish my stay, checked out early without refund. Simply couldn't take the smell.
