Awesome place, comfortable and safe, with lovely terrace and inner green area. Wifi worked perfectly, it's located very close to main bus terminal and market and easy walk to the city centre. The staff is amazing - super friendly and helpful, I had a shuttle early in the morning and they made sure I didn't miss it.

The garden is cute and they have a friendly dog and cat.

The room is very noisy. You can hear the people in the rooms besides, you hear everything from the street, you hear everything from the garden en on top of all you hear the people going to the shared bathroom. It basically feels like sleeping outside in a tent. The shared bathroom is most of the time quite dirty. We both saw multiple times cockroaches en de room is always full of mosquitoes. So be prepared to get poked a lot during the toilet and shower. Unfortunately we got sick. So we had to stay a night longer. We first checked booking but decided to just arrange it locally with the reception. To our surprise, at the checkout, the price was more then the price on booking. About 20% more expensive. Very customer unfriendly in our opinion.

I appreciated the hospitality and the conversation with the owner of the place. A comfortable place to stay, good size room, comfortable bed, large bathroom. I appreciated the view from the terrace and the inner yard of the place. It was a real good value for money.

There was a slight smell coming from the pipes in the bathroom. Sometimes one should be careful not to step on a poo that the dog of the house could leave on the terrace, before the staff could clean it.

Nice and cheap! Right next to the market! 10-15 min walk to the Center. The owners were very nice! Small functional rooms. Nice and quiet!

Super gorgeous interior, friendly staff and hot water. Great value for the money

This was a very pleasant place to stay. The hosts are warm, it's got a small kitchen and the rooms themselves are spacious and clean. They were nice enough to let us do a bit of laundry in their basin and had a great spot for hanging it up on the roof. Internet connection was stable and the property feels very secure.

Some of the facilities are a bit dated and the shared bathroom is small, but very functional. Sound travels quite freely between rooms. Not much to complain about, though!

Really kind host and it’s clean.

There is no hot shower and the wifi is a bit poor. Both mornings someone started sweeping outside our room which woke me up around 7am. The dog is scary, starts barking and biting at my girlfriend. For those reasons it is quite expensive to stay here.

Good location, fun balcony. There is a bus terminal and big market around the corner. Although placed near very busy road (lots of camioneros crossing every day) it felt surprisingly calm at night. The owner is helpful and easy to talk to.

I've got somewhat small and basic room for money paid but price/quality ratio is overall not very good in Antigua, Guatemala. The night keeper was almost impossible to talk to without knowing Spanish.

We were very sick and the lady helped us wonderful. She did even more than we asked for and that's something you really want in this situation!

Everything was amazing. I felt safe, comfortable, and welcome here.

First time I stayed there I payed with the credit card without additional fees; but the second time I had to pay 8% in addition which is weird and kind of not nice... so it was very annoying to experience that lart

Owner is very nice, there are 2 cats there who are very cuddly and friendly simba and felix, and a nice dog too. Rooms spacious with wardrobe. Located right beside the market and 5 mins walk from centre and supermarket

Kitchen needs more utensils

We stayed almost one week in Gilda's Posada. We had a super great time. Gilda was an angel to us! She helped us booking some tours. We will definitely come back!

Great stuff and great location

Very kind staff, great housekeeping, good kitchen. Loved the 2 cats and the dog, all friendly. Good laundry service. Lots of beautiful plants. Would stay again.

At least for us was the price for one night and not included breakfast, and probably the most important not parking.
