The apartment itself is excellent. Can’t tell about summer time but during winter is really warm place even the one under roof. Kitchen is fully equipped, two isolated bedrooms plus living room. Parking is not an issue in Moselkern - all free. Train station is 2 minutes walk otherwise.

I cannot say our stay went smoothly. Rule number one - follow checkin time. We were late and it was a whole story how me managed to get to the house. A very big thanks to Belvilla meanwhile who was pushing owners for at least an hour to let us come in. A huge minus to Booking.com who told us it’s our fault and advised to make a new reservation. Rule number 2. Count bedsheets. We were given 3 bedsheets for a company of 3 adults and a kid ( 4 adults in a voucher ) My dad had to sleep two nights without sheets just with blanket! Very embarrassing for a property to have your guest go through it! Rule number 3. Bring your stuff. And this is not about hairdryer which is also missing by the way. There is no shampo/shower gel, no kitchen towels, no welcome tea or coffee, no dishwasher tables, no trash bags. Even for 1 time use. There is no supermarket in Moselkern so you will need to drive at least 6km to get it. So even apartment is great those little things mean a lot!! Rule number 4. Negotiate everything in advance. During both days I made like 5 calls and at least and they never pick up ( the official property phone ) there is one more private number - unfortunately a person speaks only German and asks to call that number with a voice mail. So in overall I cannot say I am fully disappointed - we spent wonderful time in Mosel valley. However there is a room for improvement in making your guests feel like at home.
