Probably the best host I’ve had in China. The place is insane, the host speaks English, gives bikes.. perfect!

Everything, Stephen is very nice and helpful

We had an amazing time with Stephen in his truly amazing family house. Everything was perfect, the room was very comfortable, with shower and everything you need. The house is absolutly beautiful , in the middle of the village, surrunding the river. The food was so so so good , we just want to come back to try the rest of the menu! You have two option dor breakfast chinese ( the one we had) and western with nutella ! stephen was very helpful regarding the transportation!

The hotel is beautiful and in an amazing historical village. The manager and his brother were incredibly helpful arranging tours, bus tickets, outdoor movie showings and generally very friendly and welcoming.

Stephen, the host, was excellent. He provided us with maps, helped us get luggage to our room and sat with us while we chose our meal for the evening.

I stayed here twice within a month. The owner Stephen is very hospitable and will help you organize everything you need to have a wonderful experience visiting the surrounding tulou clusters. The hotel itself is a 140 year old tulou and has a very warm ambience to it. The village itself offers many tulous to visit with other popular clusters nearby. Great breakfast included with both Chinese and western options. All the dishes on the lunch/dinner menu are cooked with local ingredients and are absolutely delicious. Good selection of craft beer and local wine on site. I can't wait to come back for a 3rd time.
