We were happy from check in until checkout. The only complaint we would have is the climbing the very steep narrow stairs. Which we knew about prior to check in. Host was great and very accomodating, close walk or drive to all we had planned.

The location was perfect for us and everything we wanted to do. The apartment suited our needs entirely, we had everything we needed and everything was clean and organized.

We were only at the property for two nights, but the location was perfect and worked great for our family of four. It was an easy walk from the municipal lot to the building (though we accidentally took the back stairs since I saw the open door at the back of the building). You want to go onto the patio—and the door is well marked! It would be a challenge for those with mobility issues, especially since it’s an older building and the staircase is somewhat narrow. We didn’t have a problem with it though I was glad we didn’t have a lot of heavy suitcases. Hersheypark was a 5 minute drive and downtown Hershey was two flights down from our room—you’re in it! I do wish we’d gotten in a bit earlier to check out the Hershey museum across the street, but it closed at 5pm. I would highly recommend staying here.

Couldn’t have asked for a better location as it was such a short distance to all of our activities (Giant Center, Hershey Park/ Chocolate World! Phil’s Italian restaurant downstairs was phenomenal, great service and staff was amazing. Our room was the perfect size for my husband and I, will definitely be back!

Exactly what we needed for the convenience

This property was in a great location and was wonderful to stay in. There is a short and fairly easy climb up the stairs, as mentioned in the description, but no big deal at all. The property was clean and in great shape, so we highly recommend it. All of the beds are in one room, so make sure that accommodates your wishes. The main bed could use some updating, but we were able to sleep fairly comforably. The location is above a fantastic Italian restaurant that is both highly-reviewed and excellent. The property is right down town in Hershey, so an easy and enjoyable walk everywhere in town and a short drive to anywhere else you wish to visit.

Smooth process for booking and check in/check out. Apartment is in downtown Hershey, so walkable distance to practically anything you would need. I would stay here again for sure.

This was one of the cleanest places I have stayed! It was larger than the listing pictures looked. Walking distance to all the attractions. We loved it.

Great location!

I stayed here with my 3 kids. It was very convenient to Hersheypark and the Hershey story. The owners were very responsive and helped with lots of little details! We would stay here again!

We enjoyed our stay, and it was well worth the money! Pros: The location is super close to Hershey, and it is literally downtown Hershey on Chocolate street. We walked to all of the restaurants, and sites from our room. I especially loved the Phil Arthur Cafe. It is in the building next door to the room, so we just walked right over for breakfast, some lunches & dinner. The staff are super friendly, and it has a family-owned, personal feel. The Phil Arthur Cafe also has delicious food with fantastic prices! I also loved how the Cafe had health conscious options. I was surprised to see avocado toast with sautéed spinach, and salmon salad, etc. But my favorite part was seeing the property owner jump in the role of the cook. The Phil Arthur cafe was pretty busy when we came for dinner and he jumped right in to help the staff. Then he was cooking breakfast when we returned the next morning!!! I didn’t realize that Phil owns the housing property, Fenicci’s Restuarant downstairs, AND the Cafe next door! By the way, the Cafe has an ice cream parlor inside.👍🏾What a great monopoly he has!!! Cons: The down side is that the building for the rooms is very old, as described on VRBO, and it could use a deep cleaning of the windows, corners, and crevices of the room. Also our room was located over top of Fenicci’s Restuarant, near where the outdoor customers were dining, talking, & drinking. Our bed was right next to the window, and even when it was closed, the customers dining downstairs were very loud and hard to sleep. Our bed was hard, and not level (dip in the middle), which made sleeping comfortably impossible. **We had a problem with the shower leak and the front door bolt lock, but Phil fixed it the same day! Super responsive owners who live nearby, and they seemed to really want all of the guests to enjoy their stay. The price is definitely aligned to the property, but the downtown location is remarkable. You will not be disappointed with the location, the very engaged owners!

My husband and I stayed 2 nights in Hershey to attend a concert. This apartment was the perfect location- we could walk to the stadium and there were plenty of restaurants nearby. The apartment was larger than I expected and had everything we needed. We were also welcomed with a bottle of wine. Great value for the money.

Everyone was so kind and accommodating. The room must have been recently remodeled exhaust everything was so fresh and clean and new! Everything is two steps ahead of you in case you forgot something. They have it! Full kitchen, linens, towels, extra towels. I am booking my next stay as soon as we get home!

We had a very good stay at this property. Being located above the restaurant is really nice. The food and drinks are awesome and service is great. Try the stromboli, you won't be disappointed! We went for a concert and ended up walking back in the rain so it's definitely doable if you have to. It was a 20 minute walk back, but uber was tough right after the concert. The wifi isn't particularly strong and the shower isn't amazing, but these are very minor issues and we weren't really there to hang out in the apartment so it wasn't a big deal. The manager Bill was super nice and walked us through the property when we arrived. Everything was pretty chill and low key. It was perfect for us. I'd definitely stay there again if we ever head back to Hershey.

This adorable apartment happens to be above the best Italian restaurant in Hershey. As soon as we got there we got the VIP treatment which consisted of discounted delicious food and free wine. The apartment itself is clean and more spacious then the pictures show. Another huge plus is that it is in the center of Hershey and you can walk everywhere or take a complementary bus to the park. My fiancé and I had a blast and we will definitely be back again.

Was great and convenient and clean. Bill and Phil were super kind and helpful and welcoming. Would totally stay there again. Only downside was the shower, but overall was worth it! It’s on the third floor, was not a problem for us at all, but was glad I didn’t have my parents with me for the climb. Just something to be aware of if stairs are an issue. Great stay

Phil was a wonderful host-incredibly welcoming, responsive and helpful! He gave us great suggestions and was very kind. The apartment (he actually upgraded us to the Hershey Kiss 2 bedroom) is perfect for a family...very clean, spacious, newly furnished, and fully stocked with everything we needed. The complimentary bottle of wine was a much appreciated extra touch! We enjoyed our stay with this as our base to explore Hershey, Gettysburg, and do some zip lining/adventure activities and hiking. It was great to be able to walk to so many Hershey attractions and restaurants nearby. Fenicci’s food and staff were amazing, as well-be sure to eat there and take advantage of their willingness to deliver to takeout to your door. The adorable crepe place next door is great, too. Overall, we would highly recommend it and will definitely stay here again if we return to the area!

We were kindly upgraded to the Hershey Kiss Suite, which had vast accommodations for a whole family! It was clean, convenient and had everything we needed! The restaurant downstairs was also v handy for pre-park dinner and post-park drinkies and dessert! Thank you for a great stay!

Loved staying at this little apartment at Fenicci's❤. Everyone was so friendly, food was delicious at Fenicci's❤ and Philip Arthur's next door. It was conveniently located right on Chocolate Ave. We will definitely be staying here again. Thank you Phillip

We had a great stay at this location! Phil and his staff were great! Very accommodating and helpful. All much more accommodating than any hotel. The food in the restaurant was awesome! The only negative was the shower. The drapes were sticking to me through the shower. Overall we're happy with the place and will definitely recommend to our friends. Thank you Phil:)

I will definitely stay here again if I come back to Hershey. The apartment was also fine... I wasn't as keen on the claw tub and shower arrangement. I frankly was scared of allowing too much water to leak through around the curtain... but in the end, it really wasn't a problem.

We were heading to Hershey for a wedding and I stumbled upon this place at the last minute. We loved our stay at Phil's place! It was clean and conveniently located right on Chocolate Ave. Great price, too! It is a third floor walk up, but we didn't mind at all. The restaurant downstairs was a hugeeee plus, it was so nice to hangout at the bar and be able to walk right up to the apartment. Everyone we met was warm and welcoming. We'll definitely be back!
