Laurent is a very good host. He organised transport and a tour to Chobe NP for me. All went very smooth. I can totally recommend the guesthouse. It's cosy and I had a very comfortable stay. Great value for money. Good breakfast.

It's not quite safe to walk around at night. It's a bit of walking from the city center as well.

Stayed in the picturesque Chalet which has 2 comfortable double beds and faces the pool. We enjoyed breakfast with cereal, eggs and toast served on a verandah also overlooking the pool. As others have said, the staff and owners are very welcoming and helpful. Even though I am a light sleeper, the loudspeakers callling from the nearby mosque was not an issue.

The chalet uses natural ventilation, with open spaces between the roof and walls (well screened against insects). I prefer this to air conditioning; however in cold weather the Chalet might be a little cool….

Beautiful environment - like a mini paradise. Staff (Bridget, Karen, Lansing) and Owners (Laurent & Bruna) were excellent at making one feel at home. Kudos to this great team! Location was also good.

Internet reception was horrible in my Room 10. No TV set in that room also.

Chlorination tools left in the pool and amount of chlorine was irritating eyes. Separate toilet and shower too far from the room.

I can’t fault anything. This is a well maintained hotel at a modest price. The room is well furnished and the bed comfortable There is seating (in the shade) next to the pool, as well as 3 sun loungers. I have already booked for my return.

The staff were really excellent. They saw to all my needs and made me feel like a special guest. I enjoyed the homely comfort of the garden. The pool was a welcome relief in the summer heat. Loved the fresh mango juice.

I would have liked better bedside lamps and coffee and milk sachets.

Totally loved the home made mango juice. Liked the pool area, pool was clean. The staff was on the friendly side and some went the extra mile to assist us.

Drinking water was not replaced everyday in the room, Livingstone is a very hot place, and a bottle of water goes a long way to start your day. The breakfast on the first day was a continental breakfast, tea or coffee , toast and butter and jam. With some cereal. We expected a full English breakfast but you have to pay for that one. It would be better if the breakfast option was clarified when booking.

Comfortable, super friendly & charming

Comfortable basic accommodation. Our younger kids enjoyed the swimming pool. Easy access to everything in a city if you have your own car. Simple breakfast (cereal, milk, toasts with jam and butter, instant coffee), no eggs included in the free breakfast option.

Everything was perfect!

The staff was friendly and helpful. The outside and garden of the property were very nice. The Wifi was working well.

The air conditioner was very noisy and we had to turn it off to be able to sleep. The suite had two rooms with a shared bathroom. The only entrance to the suite was through the one-bedroom, so the second person had to literally walk through the other person's room to exit or enter. The bedroom with the door to the outside did not have a door between it and the shared ensuite bathroom/toilet's entrance, it only had a curtain hanging in that doorway. A curtain does not provide any proper privacy or soundproofing at all. No courtesy milk or coffee powder in the room (as we are used to getting at other places) Breakfast was cereal and toast, nothing else, it wasn't advertised as anything more than that, but most places offer something better than toast and cereal. If you wanted to order any food in the evening, you also have to fork about a fee for a taxi to deliver it, making it rather pricey. Although it is less than 2km from the city centre, it is still about 11 km from the falls and quite far from many attractions, you need your own transport or will have to use a taxi.

Very nice place with lovely and helpful staff. Laurant helped in the organisation of our only day in Livingston in such a good and efficient way that we managed to do everything we wanted in the very limited time we had. We will definitelygo back.

A truly nice guesthouse, all was fine and good. It's not an expensive hotel (hence "guesthouse") so do not expect fancy bells and whistles, but we had all we needed. But what makes it a 10 is the owner, Laurent, and his staff. It already started before we came - Laurent answered my email questions for advice quickly, and adequately, helped arrange transport, etc. Once there, he and his staff were equally helpful - and friendly. Oh I almost forgot - breakfast is really nice too ! - but if you are a coffee buff like I am, do ask for the filtered coffee that the staff will make fresh for you at a small surcharge - in quite a lot of countries in Africa coffee powder is alas the depressing standard :)

If you can't live without wifi, take into account that the wifi works in the central area, not in all rooms. For us that was no issue, in the central area there's the pool, and a nice sitting area, where you can get drinks.

The location was good. They have a nice swimming pool. The staff was pleasant and helpful.

Lack of WiFi in the back accommodations and the continental breakfast was very basic.

The room is better than I expected. Very few guest because of Covid-19, I wish more visitors.
