Fantastic , friendly staff . Sunday carvery was tasty , hot and great value for money and great choice of vegetables to accompany ample amount of succulent meat .

The shower !!! Couldn't get a decent stream of water . Used the bath instead __ not a big problem .

Lovely room, spacious and clean. Food was excellent. All staff friendly and efficient.

Our room 203 was very small. No hairdryer. The bathroom was hopeless with no heating. There was a shower hose hut no curtain and it was impossible to stand up as the bath was tucked under the eaves. The food was served on cold plates and the staff had no idea about the contents/ingredients. Very disappointing ,for the cost.

I’d like a family room please with extra loud music directly beneath us please. They put us above a party in the function room. They apologised for not informing us. We have three children under five. I asked to move us around 10pm as we couldn’t stand it any longer. They offered a room on the 2nd floor which I moved to with the youngest. My wife stayed with the other two as they had eventually fell asleep by 10:30pm. By 11pm my wife had asked me to come back as they kept waking up due to the noise. I carried the baby back and they were all asleep by 11pm. we had to put up with the noise for another hour. Awful experience. we paid £200 for the room and weren’t offered any reimbursement for the massive inconvenience. not what you expect when taking the family away for the weekend.

The shower was awful, it wasn’t a shower and you couldn’t get the temperature right it was a health and safety disaster; noisy guests and door slamming woke us up; no tea bags or hair dryer in the room and breakfast was pretty unexceptional

The room was pleasant, good size, comfortable bed, tea and coffee making facilities in the room, the room had just been decorated, nice and clean, Bathroom was good. Breakfast - there is no menu so you have to ask what you can order for breakfast, there is orange juice , cereal, butter and jams available, everything else needs to be ordered - service was excellent - staff is very polite, eager to assist with everything, great place to stay.

everything was as described. even though we arrived late on Sunday evening our host made us very welcome. lovely breakfast. we had a meal in a near by Indian restaurant. got ripped £££ of,no heating & food was not good.

it’s a old hotel that has been renovated sympathetically some time ago. but it is really nice. the only problem we had was no hot water for a shower, we had to get dressed and go down to reception to be told by our host to let the water run. a note in the room would have worked better.

Well located, clean and tidy. The bed was comfortable and the room ok. Breakfast was very good and served by a smiling waitress.

There was no shower or heating in the bathroom. and on the day we arrived there was no hot water. A trip to reception where they turned on the boiler fixed this. But the following morning again no hot water. it took almost 20 mins to get the hot water through before we could get a wash.

Cleanliness - excellent. hotel was very clean Food - Breakfast was limited in choice but was adequate for my needs, value for money and very well cooked. Evening meal was excellent. staff- very friendly and helpful. especially the young lady who helped me with my bags when I. Checked in.

Bathroom- very clean and the shower was good. The issue I had was due to my mobility and no walk in shower, I had an issue with getting into and out of the bath. I would have also liked a heated towel rail as there isn’t any heating in the bathroom.

Room had a nice view, it was close to the beach, bed was really comfy. Front of the hotel was quiet and back bar was bustling so could choose what atmosphere you wanted.
