There wasn't staff available at all times. When we arrived, no one received us so we had to look around the place for someone to indicate where our room was. They overbooked the place, and ended changing our cabin to keep a family friend guest in our originally booked room, and kicking the guests that were in the new room for us to be able to use it. No cleaning in between guests. The new room was above the floor, so you can feel every move, and even the thunders would make the cabin move, making it feel unstable and caused my boyfriend to have a panic attack. The space distribution was not the best, not much space to move around the room. Only one real mattress. Sheets were dirty and had paint stains. There is no food available within the hostel, you need to eat outside. Only one restaurant was open after lunch, so we almost didn't have dinner - as we were guided to a restaurant that was closed and ended up buying food to prepare ourselves. Paths are a bit unsafe, specially if raining, very slippy. Not worth the price.

Excellent location with wonderful views (if you have a car) . Nice simple tree houses with moskitieras. Clean, well equipped shared kitchen. Good common spaces. Very kind and hospitable host. He gave us some tips about the trekking around. He offered us as well avocados ( growing there). Good wifi ( only next to the room) - wifi not working in the kitchen area.

The wifi working only around one area so all people were gathering on the hammocks below our tree house = no privacy as people sitting and chatting just below the house. No hot water ( but I believe this is common in the Caribbean coast)

Well located. Lots of nature and birds around

Half of the lights in our bungalow didn't work. Beds didn't feel clean. We had an issue with parking, it says that there is private parking but it is just an inside road, all cars blocking each other, we weren't planning on using our car for our stay time but we had to move it a number of times.

Absolutely beautiful, tranquil place to relax! The owners and staff are very friendly and welcoming, and the bungalows are comfortable and an incredible value.

Transport is a bit expensive in the area and the location was out of the way from major attractions and the town. From Minca it was 20.000 per person by motorcycle (no helmets for passengers) or 80.000 by car. Adds up if you stay a few days and plan for some activities

Everything was great from start to finish. It's an amazing location outside of Minca which is already in the middle of nature. Stunning views, beautiful sounds if nature around you, banana trees and super nice people. The cabins/bungalows are very comfortable and nicely decorated. There are a lot of areas to relax and enjoy a great time away from the big city life. Hammocks, nets, fireplace etc. This is a magical place.

Our stay was too short. ;-)
