Good view and a calm mountain atmosphere. The location is great for sightseeing and you have a very good view from the balcony and trass. There are a lot of commonplace to relax and barbeque and enjoy your stay.

Reaching up there is from a narrow road. It is beautiful but not easy and takes time to go to the city center. There are many ways to go up and down, By walking takes 30 minutes at least and is not easy because you climb the mountain. You can rent a car. The problem is with parking in the city center and the high price. ( 8 Euro per hour minimum ) or rent a scooter which is better than a car. Another way is by bus. The bus has a stop in front of this place and will come every 1 hour. Sometimes you may lose the bus when the bus is full. The driver will not stop and you should wait another hour to get the next one. if you can get a taxi and you have no problem with payments then there is no problem.

The property is very well maintained and looked after, it has a cosy, convenient and pretty leisure area with reclining chairs for tanning and wooden furniture with tables and chairs and benches for playing games. Additionally, it has a relaxation area in a secluded space upstairs which was great for evening time outs. The place is very secure with automatic gates and safe available. the bus stop is literally 2 minutes away which is extremely handy. Teresa was very welcoming, brought us home grown tomatoes, a leaving gift and went an extra mile to post back to England forgotten items straight away, a gesture highly appreciated! Fluffy the dog is super friendly too, kids loved playing with her every day. thank you for a lovely stay!

The hosts were amazing! Super helpful, and even gave my husband some home made limoncello for his birthday. The views were amazing, and the home had all we needed.

Some considerations are that this property is at the top of the hill (mountain). There are a path of steps to get you down into the town. Which work just fine for getting down, but I wouldn’t try going up unless your in tip top shape. The shuttle is often full to head back up in the afternoons. So you could wait over an hour or more on the shuttle. Parking for a car is not impossible. I recommend trying to find meter parking earlier in the morning if you choose this option. A taxi is also an option at approx $35 euros one way.

The views from the apartment are amazing - in that sense the location is really awesome. The gardens are very beautiful and there is a table just outside the apartment in a private area to the apartment. We ordered breakfast which was laid out everyday on the time we specified on that table - and was also cleaned afterwards. The breakfast out there with heavenly views and chatting with family was the best part of our vacation in Positano. In fact so good that was a vacation activity in itself and was priceless. Teresa and her husband were extremely helpful not only with respect to the property itself but with providing tips about the area in general. We had pre booked a private taxi from booking.com to come from Naples airport and to the Pompeii Scavi (station/ruins which are opposite each other). However we needed help in getting around (public transport with the local bus, ferry, walking trail, etc.) which she provided. On the last day she also helped arrange a car/driver because we wanted to go around for taking pictures. The local bus has a stop on the road just outside the apartment. Actually it is a misnomer to call it an apartment as it is more of a multi level gated private house on a hill top with private car parking. The big multi level house is divided into apartments (this apartment is second level down). There are steps but Teresa’s husband carried our luggage down to the apartment as well as up to the taxi when it was time to leave.

The property is up in the hills almost in Montepertuso. So to go to the Positano city center your options are: walk down a steep trail, take the local bus (Nocelle - Montepertuso - Positano) or take a taxi. The trail has lots of stairs - Google Maps says around 45 minutes but probably takes a couple of hours if you are not very fit as was in our case. The bus is insanely jam packed in summer and once didn’t even stop. Additionally you need to have cash in euros to buy the tickets for the bus - we hadn’t taken any cash out of the ATM and had to walk down the trail first time. I have included the schedule of the local bus as a picture. The taxi is probably the most comfortable but an expensive option in the peak season. We had to shell out 50 euros once to come back from the Positano center because the taxi drivers know they can overcharge. Most times we did use the bus though - as it does stop just outside the apartment. Be warned that there are a lot of stairs to climb to get to the road from the apartment (price of the beautiful views). My review might seem negative about the location - but it is not. If you want views like that, climbing stairs as well as going up the hill away from the town is necessary. I just wanted to make sure you are aware while booking to have a pleasant experience (like us). Also this place was not as costly as rest of the Positano properties with views - even if you use taxi everyday, you will come out ahead in terms of the price.

Awesome all around. Hosts - fabulous - were kind and always ready to help. One of Positano's best restaurant was a 10 minute walk up the road in a small village. The view on our private terrace and our balcony was amazing day and nite. Nice not to have to stay down in the "zoo" main town, packed with people.

2000 Stairs down to Positano... take the bus both ways instead. Tough to park - cheap - in Positano if u drive your own car down.

Really incredible views! The accommodation is lovely and clean. A short and step-less walk to a lovely restaurant and supermarket in Montepertuso and about a 30 minute walk into Positano. It's also right at a bus stop that goes in and out of Positano town at least once an hour which was so convenient! A really excellent location if you want to enjoy Positano but have a little peace and quiet away from the town center, and to hike the Path of the Gods. The hosts were also very helpful and friendly!

Our family love the property. It’s Very quiet around. The views are amazing. We should stay longer. 3 nights is not enough. We could leave our car in the property garage and explore the city. Even with 2,5 years son it wasn’t a problem to walk down the stairs to the center. Enjoy every moment. The buses from the center up going every hour till 11:20 pm.

We loved the location with an amazing view on Positano bay. The apartment is very clean, had all we needed for our stay. Teresa is an amazing host, very responsive, kind and helpful.

We were not expecting the many stairs from the parking to the apartment. this could have been spelled out more clearly on booking.com

The remarkable view from the terrace! Hospitality of the hosts - they were always ready to assist. Nice looking rooms with all required facilities. Car parking - although it was tight, one of the hosts has been gently re-parking it back by front side so that it’s easy to drive out. It was very helpful, thank you!

The location is fairly remote from city center - higher by the mountain, but this sacrifice is justified by the view you get.

Beautiful view, clean and an new experience to live high in the mountain. Enjoyed taking all the the steps to the beach.

The apartment is beautiful and the view from the balcony is amazing. Teresa, our host, was well prepared and super nice. We got maps and a folder with all the information we could possibly need from her and she took the time to look through all of it with us personally. Absolutely perfect! The apartment is located a little distance away from the city center, which gives you perfect views while also still feeling remote, relaxing and quiet. Taking the bus to city center was no problem and actually quite the experience since you get to know some of the locals and all the bus drivers were helpful and friendly. There’s also steps down to the center that you can take and a cozy mini market a short walk away.

Location with a view, up in the hill and not easy to walk to city center. but! 20 min drive with a cheap bus to get to city center of positano and the transportation was great. this asset is perfectly fitted to 4 persons and is really comfy, has all the facilities needed. one last thing, Teresa and Fabrizio are really somthing special - Thank you!

The apartment was simply amazing, best view from a B&B balcony of our lives! Teresa and her husband went out of their way to let us make the most of our short stay. Particularly helpful was the private parking on site. convenient, safe and most importantly free! Parking in Positano can get ridiculously expensive, I was immediately sold on this opportunity! Walking to the city can be quite a hike, but you pay the price for the most amazing view ever. If I were to come back to Positano, there’s no doubt I would come back to this B&B!

The location was perfect - an amazing view of Positano and an easy journey on the local bus to reach the town centre. Teresa was a wonderful host with great recommendations for our stay. We would love to come back!
