La Herradura is a busy place, mainly Spanish holiday bakers lovely for a swimming and access to very beautiful undeveloped beaches. Apartment is up the hill but quite close to the town and beaches. Great having parking in the garage because otherwise parking would be difficult. It is a very nice roomy apartment. Comfortably furnished and I found the owner and support staff locally very helpful, responsive and easy to deal with.

The apartment doesn't have AC and I found the bedroom very hot at night. There was a cooler which didn't work very well. Temps were 30 plus in first week of July.

A couple more towels for a week long stay please. Not suitable for anyone who can't walk up the very steep hill. Clearer road signs for anyone driving to the property.

The apartment is extremely comfortable and has everything you need. It's great that there is a garage with a dedicated parking space as there's not a lot of on-street parking, The beds are very comfortable and the apartment is well equipped and maintained. The housekeeper lives nearby if you manage to lock yourselves out as we did! On the two occasions that I needed to phone the owner in Germany, the phone was answered promptly and my issues were dealt with efficiently

We didn't have the full address of the property and eventually had to phone the owner to find out the property number, so although we had specific instructions about the location of the keys, we spent a lot of time trying to locate the correct portal. We didn't realise that the second set of keys in the key safe wasn't for our apartment and managed to lock ourselves out. We expected to have great views from our terrace. There are spectacular views from the communal terrace above the apartment. The downstairs neighbour kept a large dog on the terrace below the kitchen and rear bedroom which barked whenever it sensed movement above (day or night). On one particular evening at about 23:30, the dog was whimpering and very disturbed; not only was this upsetting but it also stopped us being able to sleep. I think the downstairs neighbours are full-time residents. There is very little or no information in the apartment about the appliances and it took us some time to work out how everything worked. We know the area very well so required no restaurant or activity recommendations. Other guests might like some personal recommendations. The apartment only has one cooling unit (no airconditioning), although I believe this is a legal requirement in the area. It was a very hot week and we couldn't get the bedrooms cool. For the rental price, I had assumed air conditioning was included. Some of the bed linen was badly stained

Apartment is done up to a really high standard . With all modern facilities. It's a bit of a walk up hill but we got used to that after a couple of days . Great balcony . We like cooking and the kitchen was very well stocked with utensils my son is a chef and even he couldn't fault it .

The only thing is the lack of air conditioning. Ok most of the time but it was 35 degrees the week we were there .
