Wonderful location place staff and breakfast. Amazing surroundings. Bad wind storm but it eventually made all area look even more magical. We shall return do the Vestahorn mountain hike. Highly recommend

L’emplacement est idéal pour une halte dans le sud est de l’Islande. Le petit-déjeuner est simple et efficace, le cadre est très beau.

La chambre dans laquelle nous étions mériterait un rafraîchissement… il y a une partie du plafond qui se décroche, la douche était cassée et les équipements commencent un peu à dater… un peu cher pour ce que c’est.

Situé à côté du Viking Village et de Stokksnes ! Nous avons même vu des phoques 🦭 Le Viking Café donne des tickets 🎟️ pour pouvoir accéder gratuitement aux zones normalement payantes.

Comme le Viking Café n’est pas un restaurant et qu’il est très isolé (ce qui fait son charme), il faut aller à Höfn pour manger. Mais c’était l’occasion de découvrir le Pakkhús restaurant vraiment top 👍🏻

Buena opción cerca de Hofn en auto, ideal si quieres estar cerca de la playa Stokksnes, te dan pases gratis para ir a ella y a la villa vikinga. El desayuno es básico pero bastante rico (sobre todo los rollitos de canela). Chico español de recepción muy amable.

La habitación estaba bien, bastante amplia, ideal para familias, hubo muchos ruidos en la noche que no me dejaron dormir. La villa vikinga está muy deteriorada, no tiene mantención, pudiendo sacarle tanto partido.

We stayed here 3 nights. The guesthouse is quite basic, simple rooms with a double bed and a private shower and toilet. It’s warm and clean, the breakfast is also quite basic, but not in a bad way at all. The guesthouse has everything you need plus amazing views when you get out and take a hike in the area. We would recommend hiking over driving to the spots with beautiful views (if walking / hiking is an option for your personal physical condition). The staff was genuine and friendly. Overall this guesthouse gave us good value for our money.

Nothing from our side, but for people with a larger build the room and the shower might be quite small. At least in room 4, where we stayed.

I liked the location. Waking up and walking outside to a mountain was unexpectedly wonderful. We got there when it was dark. So, we didn't know it was there.

The location near the Viking ‘film’ set, mountains and black beach bay and headland make it a great to explore, especially if the weather is fine. The room is comfortable and functional with a really comfortable bed. The staff were both friendly and helpful. The breakfast was simply excellent! A short drive done an unmade road allows easy access to Route 1. Thank you Viking Cafe for a wonderful stay!

This was the most surprising location on our Circuit of Iceland, lots to see and do at this location overnight in a beautiful location with lovely nature reserve and old viking village.

Nothing not to like.

The room was very big, but I think we got the biggest room because we also had a small private terrace. The location is very remote and is a nice touch the free tickets to the Viking Village. A lot of parking spaces and very close to Hofn, 10-15 minutes drive.

The breakfast choices were at a minimum but with a very good coffee

Beautiful surroundings, extremely friendly staff at reception. Very tasty cakes at Café.

The room was disappointing, without view, quite dark inside and cold (although it was June).

The house is very big with an extra living room. Surrounding is beautiful. The film set of the Witcher prequel Blood Origin is a plus for the Witcher fan.

It's conveniently located just 25-30 minutes away on foot from Stokksnes . Great place for photographers to stay to get some sunset and sunrise photos of Stokksnes. As a bonus you don't have to pay the fee to visit Stokksnes as a guest of viking cafe. The stuff was really friendly and helpful and we felt very welcome.

We stayed for one night only, we wish to be there more but had to move on. The place is heavenly, the staff, was kind , the room was large and fully equiped, clean, the view and the serrounding were absolutly amaizing.the breakfast was great. Every thing was just perfect, nothing to complain about !

The guesthouse is in a nice place to visit the nature around. In the neighbour you have a movie set of a viking village used in movies and a nice walk to a cliff with nice view and birds. Breakfast is quite good.

Staff is kind but they have been very unresponsive when we called them the day after because we realized my daughter lost on the cliff a jacket with airpods inside. They asked us to send an email. Unfortunately we cannot go back because we were already 250 km away. We sent an email and also called them to see if they were so kind to go there (10 mins of effort) and look for the jacket. By the way we never get an answer. I know they can be busy but it would have been nice just to have a "yes we will check" or "no sorry we cannot check".
