We were in a local fishing tournament in AMI and we have stayed here the last two years. We kept our boat at the dock overnight of which gave us a great advantage in this tournament being on the water and ready to go. We hope to continue the tradition and stay at this property next year as well!

My family will definitely be coming back to this location. The owner was fantastic. Location was beautiful and perfect.

We were long term renters in this "vintage era" beach cottage apartment. We found it to be rundown, worn & neglected, and in need of repairs throughout. Although it has a lovely view, the VRBO pictures and description are misleading. Several "DIY" type "renovations" exist while most of the floors, ceilings & walls have holes & patches which need to be repaired and repainted. Many window shades are tattered and need to be replaced. Deck furniture was in poor condition... cushions were dirty & torn. Upon arrival, the grill was rusted and a safety hazzard. Beach chairs were also dirty and rusted. Positives: A great view, fair location (long walk to beach) and the internet, TV & W/D worked well.The owner was contacted & quickly responded to our complaints of the unit not being clean upon our arrival, a water "shutoff" mid-stay, A/C issues, and the unusable grill...which she replaced a few days later. In summary, this unit may have significant potential but it misses the mark in it's current run-down condition. I would not return to, or recommend. Definitely disappointing!

We recently enjoyed our second stay at Jenny’s house on AMI. Our first trip 4 years previously left us with a yearning to return and we arrived it felt like home. It’s a fantastic place to stay, furnishings, utilities, crockery are all to the highest standard. Jenny is very responsive as a host and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her place. We will be back. The only differences from last time - outside hanging chair not as comfy, but double beds in the second bedrooms are a great new addition.

The location was excellent, and the view was spectacular! However, there was a very strong mold smell, particularly in the back room where my kids were sleeping. My older son ended up getting sick and I had to move my children out into the living room for the remainder of the trip. The closet in that room also smelled very strongly of cat urine. The place needs better upkeep and more loving care. Paint was peeling and it did not seem to be kept up well. We would not stay there again. For the amount of money we paid, we would expect an immaculate, updated, clean place to stay.

Nice northern waterfront AMI location on canal. host Jenny was available by phone to try and tke care of any issues which arose. This is an older home which has been renovated to provide nice acces to the water - small deck allows outside sitting and grilling overlooking water. Enjoyed biking and kayaking here and visiting City Pier just down the road and my favorite upper AMI place - Rod n Reel Pier - good food and fun watching the fishing and dolphins.

Great view. Great location. Wonderful for those of us with water toys to have a dock right out back. Will go back!

A true cottage feel but with clean upgraded modern bathroom/shower. Enjoyed waking up with tea on the deck, the morning sun and breeze, peaceful. I found myself wanting to be home at night to enjoy the moonlight reflecting off the water. Just a sweet sweet place to relax and enjoy time.

Perfect spot with everything we needed. Absolutely loved the area and house and will definitely book again in the future. Highly recommend!!

Quiet and quaint beach cottage with dock and parking for boat and trailer. Beautiful view of the bay with floor to ceiling windows. Cottage was stocked with everything we needed including a hose to flush out the boat motor in the evenings. King size bed was so comfortable - slept like a baby! Convenient walk or short drive to have your toes in the white sugar sand or turquoise blue water.

Had an absolute amazing time at Jenny’s property. She had everything we needed and more. Highly suggest!

What a cute place with everything you could possibly need. Spent two weeks enjoying the canals, bay, ICW & the beautiful white sand & aquamarine water of Anna Maria Island. Jenny was very accommodating & responsive. Would definitely rent this place again.

Very nice property away from the crowds. We were able to bike to the beach and all the restaurants near the pier. We would stay here again !

Location is great with short bike ride to shops, fishing pier, and the north beaches.

Loved having the water view! Eclectic beach house on Anna Maria. Very comfortable king bed and two twin beds in the other room. Kitchen was well stocked with everything you could need to cook a meal.

My husband and I enjoyed our stay here in this apartment in a quiet neighborhood . We had plenty of space and appreciated having a second bathroom. The view from the living room is amazing. Having a dock and being on an inlet was perfect for paddle boarding.. We would stay here again.

Overall, we had a wonderful stay on the second floor of the apartment. Jenny was fantastic to communicate with before our stay and was always quick to answer any questions. The apartment itself was very cute and quaint and in a great central part of the island with a gorgeous view. We have a boat and this was the only listing we could find with dock access at the time so that’s why we booked. I hate to say anything negative because this was a lovely stay and trip but there are some things I feel I must address for future guests. The first being, one of the bathrooms is in the kitchen and the shower is really small with little to no AC flow. My husband is 6’2 and I’m 5’3 and we both found it difficult to navigate our way around this and uncomfortably hot. Secondly, although this is addressed in the listing summary - we were thrown off by the fact that this is a two unit duplex with our apartment being on the second floor. For some reason we thought we had the whole place. Might have have been because of the wording and how the bottom portion of the house is listed on AirBnB and then the top part is listed on VRBO - we were going back and forth between the two. This wouldn’t have been a big bother had our neighbors (the second round of guests) been quiet but the noise level was out of control. From the minute they arrived their kids were running all over the dock, around the house and screaming to the top of their lungs. The screaming continued to 11pm where I actually had to walk myself downstairs and ask if everything was ok and to please stop as we were trying to go to bed. Lastly, we had to buy our own coffee filters, bring extra trash bags, and extra paper towels and toilet paper. That’s a first for us as we’ve stayed at many AirBnB’s and VRBOs. HOWEVER, getting past all that, it truly was a nice stay. Will we be back? Probably not.

This home is a perfect spot for anyone needing some peace while also being close to restaurants and shopping. If you want to see dolphin or manatee you might just glimpse them out the full wall of windows. We enjoyed the use of the deck/dock for paddle boards and for renting a boat and stopping by. The beach is just down the street. The home is fully equipped and my daughter loved that her room had Roku and could watch some Netflix. Comfortable, well equipped and cozy. The perfect beach house!
