Friendly welcome. Clean bungalow, spacious. Kitchen could be used for cooking.
Pool area looked great.
We used the laundry and dried outside.
We missed a 3rd chair insight, we used 1 from the veranda.

We have stayed at the Desert Palms Alice Springs in the past and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The location is great, very clean and tidy, the staff are friendly and they have great facilities such as the pool, laundry room and BBQ area. The property has an automatic code gate at night and well secured. There is a coded back gate if you wish to go to the golf club for a hit of golf or for a meal. We enjoyed sitting on our private balcony enjoying a quiet beverage whilst enjoying the lovely weather.

The rooms and other facilities are very adequate. It's great to have the golf club restaurant a short walk next door. Although a little out of town, there is public transport and many were happy to walk. The advantage is that this is a quiet location. We didn't use the pool area but others did and it looked very inviting. Great that you can buy simple supplies, including beer and wine, at reception.
On our 3 day stay, the room was not serviced at all - small things like milk and sugar for tea and coffee.

Its location is perfect, it has a kitchenette, the rooms are a generous size, and the pool is quite refreshing. The staff are helpful and very friendly. We loved the surrounding palm trees. In addition, a crew worked constantly to do repairs and clean in the early morning.

All the beds in the family room were dusty like they hadn't been cleaned in weeks, as was the table and bench tops. The air-conditioning sits above the main bed and would appear to me it's never been cleaned. Beds were just ok, it was cold because they don't provide ample blankets. I literally had hey fever from when I entered until my shower the next morning. If you have allergies stay away from this place as in my experience they lack the ability to properly clean rooms and amenities

Good value for money after a long trip through the desert. Nice swimming pool, comfortable room well equipped, nice veranda and quiet surroundings.

I did not spend a lot of time on the property, but it was a very peaceful atmosphere.
Not sure if the aircon was working properly or I didn’t use it properly, but it didn’t seem to keep my room cool. Having to take the key out of the system every time I went out was not helping to keep room cool.

Great pool. High ceilings allowed for a great sense of space. The soap dispenser didn't really work eg. cover kept falling off. The knife allocated for chopping food was blunt. The staff were more than excellent in manner. So friendly and helpful. Loved the vegetation allowing for privacy.

very nice pool. friendly and accommodating staff. extra bed was nice. bathroom small but nice with hot shower. wifi was very strong, rare in our Outback travels.
a bit on the outside of the center of Alice Springs but an easy drive. the main issue is that it’s quite overpriced for the location and time of year (low season).

I would never stay here again, the bathroom wasn't good, there's no tissues provided, not much of cooking equipment, you can't anything.
