It smelled very musty when we walked in. There was no heat. When we got some heat going it kept reverting to 64 degrees in the middle of the night and various times of the day. It is sad it seems like whom ever owns it must own several and doesn’t pay attention to their properties. The driveway was mud and a few stones. That was a bummer to get in and out of the car. That is when the druggie neighbors were not parked in front of the driveway smoking pot.

This home was clean and spacious with four bedrooms. I will rent again if I need a place in Huntsville!

The listing states this is in a one of the best school districts; we took their word on it until we got into the neighborhood and it was clearly mispresented. Great schools rates it at 1, 2, and 3 out of 10. There were broken locks on the windows, stains on the table, garbage left outside, beer bottle caps and cigarette/cigar butts all around the property; there was a bug on the table, broken furniture and screws and bolts left out in the children's room (also missing a smoke detector). We decided it wasn't safe to stay and left immediately, We asked for a refund due to how the property had been misrepresented in the listing versus reality and due to the lack of locks on the windows in the unsafe area and they said no. They offered us a different property around the corner and in a different spot in town, but we were reluctant to trust them after the inaccurate listing. They refused a refund and after a 10 hour drive with two dogs and two young kids, we had to find a last minute accomdation which was a challenge. We spent many hours on the phone with VRBO and it was of no help.

Nice, clean rental. Property manager is quick to respond and easy to work with. Highly recommend.

The property was clean and comfy as displayed in the listing. There was a problem with the WiFi on the second day so I was unable to work on homework assignments. The only thing I would suggest is please stock the kitchen with some basic staples like salt, pepper, sugar, ketchup, mustard...etc. More basics would be great. The purpose of renting an Airbnb was to avoid eating out every night and some basic staples would have been great. Luckily WalMart was only blocks away. I would have loved to leave all the condiments but had to throw them away. There was coffee but no cream or sugar. The brand of coffee you supplied was not a good one. The blender was brand new but did not have the rubber washer so all the liquid leaked all over the counter immediately. If you don't have the one that came with it you can buy a replacement at the local hardware store but take the blade with you to get a tight fit. There was only one roll of toilet paper. Please take into consideration how many women will be staying and for how long. Please don't think I'm complaining. I am not, but just listing a few things you may have not considered. I always rent AirBnB's when traveling and have even rented a few motor homes for camping trips and you are the first that did not have basics in the kitchen and bathroom. Believe me, it makes a difference. Board games, a deck of cards and/or a few books would have come in handy with no working TV. Everything else was decent, nothing to brag about though.
