The apartment is located in a wonderful position. New York can be easily reached by bus. The surroundings are quiet. Several shops are very near, and tou can find whatever you need. The host is perfect: helpful, nice, ready to answer any question.

The apartment inside is clean! The building/property is not so clean. The elevator was loud and maybe it opened on the 5th floor, maybe not. There is not a washer and dryer in the apartment, but there is one you pay to use on the property. The front door of the building was open, not secure. I paid for parking and someone kept parking in my spot. That made me nervous because I didn’t want the rental car towed.

The apartment itself is absolutely wonderful - very clean and modernized. There were a few very minor issues, such as broken blinds and closet handles, but nothing that really bothered us at all.
As for the some of the neighbors, there was a man screaming loudly for at least an hour one night, and several other occasions of excessive noise as well as people smoking in the hallways. This might be rather disconcerting for families with younger children.
There is a very convenient bus stop directly across the street, one of the best grocery stores I've ever visited within a short walk, and lots of good restaurant choices nearby. If you're looking for a very nice, affordable way to visit NYC, and you don't mind a bus ride into the city each day, this is an excellent option.

Us Hoosiers had a great time visiting NYC, while being able to stay in a more quiet town on the Jersey side. It was only about an 18-20 minutes drive into the city. Our apartment was very clean. A small personal garage was offered for our vehicle, however our suv was too big. But they were quick to offer and set up outdoor parking for us. Claudia was extremely prompt at replying to any and all messages. Self check out/check in made it quick and easy. We had no complaints from this property and want to thank Claudia for all her help.

The apartment was very nice, clean and great location. We felt very comfortable and didn't miss anything. The bus connection into the city was very good. There were shopping opportunities in the immediate vicinity. If we were to travel to New York again, we would always choose this apartment.

This apartment was our home for seven days. It was clean, warmly decorated, and very comfortable. It was also supplied with the necessities for our stay. It was convenient to the bus to the city and a grocery store that is close enough to walk to. The best part was the beds are so comfortable. So much so that we are purchasing the same mattress for our home!! And Claudia was very quick to respond to any questions we had. We recommend this rental very highly!!

Nice place to explore New York from. The bus leaves right across the street and a major supermarket is within walking distance. The apartment is part of an apartment block that is not very appealing from the outside. It was clean and contained everything we needed. Communication with the landlady was smooth.

Really great place to stay if you wanna visit Manhattan, New York . A nice, clean and stylish home for 4 adults. Bus stop just in front of the building, which takes you to Bus Authority in just a few stops. Highly recommended!

My friend and I enjoyed our stay. The apartment was clean, modern and comfy. There was a bad smell which we determined was coming from the fridge. It remained in the apartment even after the host gave us some baking soda to put in the fridge, although it did dissipate somewhat. The location of the apartment was very convenient, with the bus to NYC right in front of the apartment. Internet went down twice but Claudia addressed the issue after we called her. Lots of linens available. We would stay here again.

The apartment was just like it was in the pictures, clean and tidy and perfect for our stay. It was handy for the bus which was right outside. We were very happy here we were 4 adults.

We had a comfortable stay in North Bergen. If you need to get there from the airport I would recomend taking an Uber. The building is not really nice looking, but the apartment is! It‘s quite big and has all you need (kitchen with gas stove, two bedrooms, 5th person had to sleep on the couch in the living room, big shower). The busstop is right across the street, the bus takes about 20 min to the Port Authority Terminal which is close to Times Square. An information sheet with all there is to know was prepared, e-Mails were answered at once.

This apartment is exactly as advertised in the listing description and photos. We were impressed with how clean it was and how comfortable the beds were. Plenty of room for our family of five to spread out and relax. A short bus ride into New York City’s Port Authority Bus Terminal if you plan on visiting the city. We stayed 8 nights and went into the city every day. Would also like to say Claudia was very responsive to messages and made sure we had everything we needed. She did a great job and we really enjoyed staying here.

Once you arrive, the outside isn't much to look at, however the apartment is very clean and updated. There are AC units in all the rooms. Very comfortable. Easy to follow bus route to time square. Would highly recommend.

Can you possibly check the room I think we might of left a wallet in the room or my wife would like to know if the dumpster can be checked because it could have been left in a bath and body works bag

We recently stay at the property and the unit is great, its comfy and relaxing which is great to arrive to after a hectic day out in town. Claudia its very great at answering and getting things resolve. Building is a bit old but apt inside its as picture, neighborhood its quiet and feels safe. Bus is right across the street and takes about 25-30 ming to get to NY which is great.
would definitly stay here again.

Great place!
My Family and I went on vacation To NY and stayed here. At first the building looked a little sketchy and old, the inside did too. The first thing I liked was that there is an elevator 🙌 me having weak muscles having to go upstairs is a challenge so this was already a plus. Once we went inside the apartment we were so amazed it was so nice and looked new. It's just as the pictures I think the pictures don't do justice. I loved this place. The beds were so comfortable and the kitchen has all the appliances you need the only thing missing was a blender. Claudia even has some papers with great recommendations to restaurants and stores. There was a grocery store about two blocks away. The bus to go to NYC is literally right in front of the building it's $3 per person. Very convenient. The place was really clean. I didn't see any roaches. The heaters work so good. The hot water in the shower sometimes didn't come out as hot but it was ok. Claudia was amazing answering the questions I had she is very nice. I will definitely come back here again.

Great stay near NYC!
We had a terrific time visiting NYC. This property was in an easy to access area right by a bus stop that could take you to Times Square in about 15 -30 minutes. Walking distance to a grocery store. Only thing to be aware of is that the hot water is a little unpredictable. Never had a completely cold shower, but some were cool (other times it was hot).

Weekend get away
We enjoyed our stay in this apartment. There were no croaches, everything was clean...and tidy. The toilet did have some issues filling up, but as I read in the reviews, you just pull up the black thingy and it is done.
My suggestions would be to put some hooks in the bathroom to hang items/towels, as there is no place for that and maybe add a kettle to boil water in the kitchen. Thank you!

Perfect for us.
Our family stayed here for the Army/Navy game. This was a short ride to MetLife Stadium and a short ride to Times Square so perfect for us. I saw NO roaches in the apartment. It was clean and looks just like the pictures. We were perfectly happy here. The toilet does have some issues. It isn’t a water issue as said in a different post but a tank issue. All you have to do is lift the black thing in the tank and it fills immediately. Great big sized grocery store within walking distance. We loved our home away from home.

NYC getaway but was a disaster .
The place looked like the projects on the outside .It was nice on the inside. Claudia was easy to deal with.. Issues were toilet didn’t flush properly due to such low pressure .. Water just trickled outta the shower .. water stayed hot for just one shower ..I seen 3 cockroaches . One was chilling in the coffee pot ..I will not be staying there again .

Nice stay
Really nice apartment very conveniently located! 15 minutes to Times Square. Appearances are deceiving from the outside. The building looked run down upon arriving, but the apartment was wonderful! Updated, bright, and spacious. Very comfortable beds! We will be returning here upon our next visit to NYC.

It was okay besides the roaches everywhere I bought some roach spray to not bring them back home. It just a need a good exterminate to kill the roaches. Overall it’s okay.

BEWARE OF ROACHES and NICKEL & DIMING!
Claudia has a lot of rules, which is no problem. We get it. The property on the outside looks really run down, but the inside looks exactly like the pictures and is very nice. There are a lot of roaches everywhere in the house, including the fridge. We found multiple roaches in the fridge dead and alive. Had to pay $100 for parking in a spot that I could barely fit in, so if you are more heavyweight (I’m kind of slim 180), then you won’t be able to get in and out of the car. Everyone had to get out of the car before I parked. Also, I had to pay $35 for an early check-in fee. I do appreciate the early check-in option. However, Claudia was very rude to me after the stay and she tried to charge me over $100 for minor wear and tear stains to a few towels and also charged us for one of my friends leaking on her menstrual cycle the night before we left, even thought there is no washer and dryer to clean it and accidents happen. We left the house completely clean wiped down, sprayed, everything was in the laundry, everything was clean. I still got harassed and I am still getting harassed to pay over $100 for mistakes that usually happen at any time staying somewhere. Especially the fact we were already charged a cleaning fee. She will nickel and dime you before you come and AFTER you leave. The place is nice, but not worth dealing with Claudia who practices bad business and obviously has a history of penny pinching her clients. I would not recommend staying at Claudias place.

Bright and Clean
The apartment was clean and big enough for a family of five for a two- night stay! And the AC was fabulous for the humid and hot summer days. The rooms and beds were comfortable!
We wished that there was a toilet paper holder and enough coffee + tea for the duration of our stay. The private garage is very small and so we were unable to use it even though we paid for it.
Overall, the price was worth it as it was an Uber ride away from NYC!

The apartment was very clean!
I found the building's wall little bit dirty while inside the apartment is excellent. It was the most dirty building I have noticed in the neighborhoods. The dumpsters area wasn't clean and left unprotected.

Claudia was fantastic! The apartment was nice and clean. Building is older however close to transportation to the city. Nice stay for the money.
