If you just come here for the desert tour, find another place that does that. The locks on the door were broken(we barricaded the door with a fan at night), the shower very cold, there were stains on the bedsheets at arrival. And you think you want to sit in the hottubs, but they are just these plastic things in the backyard. The owner is also not very female friendly. When another girl and I asked why we(10 people) had to cut the trip short and missed chilled stargazing because one guy had a bad time schedule, he just fistbumped the person who ruined the trip for the rest of us. Had an excuse that he could not do anything because of his back problems.

The people were friendly and accomodating. I arrived in the night they made me feel it would be safe. They helped me get a bus ticket wile I was on the tour and supported getting food delivered and a taxi when I needed to leave late inc late check in. That was very kind.

The tour takes you through the red desert at mid day. I feel this can be done earlier in the day and I appreciate it’s a dessert and it’s always going to be hot but the midday sun is always the hottest. Outside of that the tour was fabulous and everyone honestly went out of their way to help Me.

We verbleven hier maar 1 nachtje want we wilde snel weer door. We hadden in de avond een nachtbus de volgende dag en mochten de hele dag nog in het hostel verblijven en alles gebruiken. Dat was erg fijn! Het personeel was ook erg behulpzaam en vriendelijk.

The staff were really friendly and welcoming. There were a few different communal places to relax, and a supermarket nearby. Air conditioning in the room was much appreciated.

There isn’t so much to do in the area, but you can just take a taxi elsewhere.

Loved this hostel. Sooooo nice. The owner is super friendly and they run the best day tour of the deserts 🌵 They are affordable and make sure everything is catered for. This really is the best hostel I’ve stayed at in Colombia and well priced, clean, friendly and quiet at night to sleep. Amazing

Les locaux sont propres et spacieux, les hôtes (qui sont adorables, soit dit en passant) nous ont proposé de faire le tour de Tatacoa avec eux et c’était totalement rentable !

A good hostel to visit the Tatacoa Desert from - the day trip the hostel organises is decent value for money and really enjoyable.

Very little in the way of amenities nearby unfortunately (eg ATMs and places to eat). The bathrooms could be cleaner too.

The room was clean and comfortable and the bathrooms were well kept too. The kitchen had everything you needed and the staff were friendly.

The room was dirty and had hairs all over the shower and stains on the sheets, but the worst part was we booked a tour to the desert with the hostel on the understanding that we would get dropped off at our new hotel. Unfortunately they refused to and left us in the dark in the desert. The guide was also very rude about us in Spanish and members of staff at the cafe told him to stop.

Location is close to the airport, but not close to the center or bus terminal, 12mil pesos to Terminal. Have tour to Tatacoa Desert Good price and safe area There are supermarkets just 7 mins walk.

the laundry services is cheap, but if you give them to wash in day time and need to leave in the next morning, the clothes may not dry because they wash the clothes at night.

The staff were excellent. Super friendly and accomodating.

It's a nice hostel if you want to do the dessert ! The people working are nice and the room was good. Common places are clean !

Just details: the noise early in the morning from guests (our room was close to the kitchen/living room) and just a fan in the room (we would have slept way better with AC as it's really warm at night).

No fresh air for private rooms as the window goes to the inside floor which is also very noisy due to other guests and due to the breakfast preparation which starts at 7.00 am. When it rains the inside floors get very wet as the water enters the house. Very slow check in with 10 interruptions to serve other guests. Tour to the dessert costs 160.000 COP including cold lunch (cold rice, cold chicken, warm frijoles, warm soup). Guide didn't provide any orientation or information during the dessert tour. Tour not worth it for the price.

Location, value for money, clean and friendly staff

The room we were initially staying in was directly connected to the main bathroom and therefore did not smell great. However, we requested to move and the staff gladly helped.

Everything was simply perfect. Hostel is clean, bed is comfy and plenty of common areas to hang out. The tour to the desert organized by the hostel was amazing! Tatiana, our guide, was very knowledgeable and I really enjoyed the tour! Supermarkets and plenty of restaurants close to the hostel.

Personal is really really friendly and welcomes you with a big smile!! They answer you any questions and imform you about tours etc very detailed. It was a clean room (dormitory) and I slept very well! Its nice set up and you even have a small garden with !!!whirlpool!!!!! The cleaning lady was super nice and let me use the kitchen in the morning (also provided me with oil, which is normally not useable for anyone) although she had just made breakfast for everyone.. so the kitchen wasn't actually open yet . There were many very nice guests and you have a chance to meet new people and maybe even join forces to go on trips together. There is a variety of supermarkets within walking distance. I felt really safe there and I would recommend it to everyone! Especially when you want to see the tatacoa desert. They offer a really nice tour.

The location is really in the middle of nowhere and you have to go to the center by taxi. There is nothing around the hostel except residential buildings.

The tour to Tatacoa was good

It's as basic as it gets. There's not even any glass in the windows so you have no privacy and when someone arrives late at night you get woken up. Also the lights are hospital level brightness. Probably the worst standard of accommodation I found in 6 months of hostelling in South America.

The tour to the Tatacoa desert was definitely worth the money (30 eu), would totally recommend!
